My mother had a KJV Dake's at home that I used to sometimes read from. It was time to have my own and I went for the NKJV because I am not a fan of Shakespeare's English.The study notes in this Bible are phenomenal. The Lists help me research more thoroughly. The concordance helps me look up any word within the Bible.Until I read a Dake's, I didn't understand that we have had several earths created and destroyed before Noah. And I didn't understand what the story about a race of Giants was about. Now, I do. Currently studying up on the Armor of God and thanks to the Lists, I can see that the Armor has twelve components to it. The last one is Prayer. Why did I never see this in regular bible's before? I LOVE this Study Bible!This Bible came packed safely from harm and arrived ahead of schedule, even though it has been a holiday time and it was at the opposite end of the country from me.

This bible is lovely daily study one. Its beautifully bounded with leather. The normal print is a tad small for people with challenged vision. So if you want a bigger print make sure you choose text between 12 and 14 cm.

I have read a Scofield study Bible for years and this Dakes Bible has truly blown me away at how in depth it is and I haven't even made it past Genesis! I am extremely pleased with my purchase of the Dakes Study Bible. The Bible also arrived on time and in excellent condition!
