6 Phenomenal Stars!
Gah!!! When Amo Jones drops on my kindle I know for a fact I'm in for an epic story. That is exactly what she delivered with Malum. Nate and Tillie were deliciously dark, volatile and explosive romance goals! I absolutely loved the intrigue, mystery and the mother of all bombs that was dropped. You never knew what was going to happen next which perfectly describes an Amo Jones novel to a T - she never pulls her punches and is one step ahead of the game with a knockout story.Without giving away any spoilers, Malum continues the shocking storyline from the previous Elite Kings books but this time it is months later and Tillie is back with secrets galore. But she underestimated Nate's mission and determination to uncover her secrets threatening the Kings. But when his monster is unleashed, no one could anticipate the devastating consequences and what is coming for them all. This story was absolutely phenomenal. It was raw, intense, erotic and so emotional. There was no denying the chemistry and pull between Tillie and Nate. She brings out his crazy and the dark side in him that people rarely see. Without her in his life he is a powerful Elite King, but with her he is a beast with a demon inside him with an unparalleled darkness. She, likewise, is his perfect match as she is the only woman that can bring his animal to heel and the woman he would burn the whole world down for.Overall, this story was twisted, emotional, riveting and consuming. Jones is an amazing storyteller who is a breath of fresh air as her stories are ALWAYS unique and compelling. I smirked, I cried and I raged as Malum took me across a wide gamut of emotions. This book is already one of the best books I've read this year as there were so many shocking moments that left me irrevocably changed. She proves time and time again that her words are a gift and we are lucky beneficiaries every time she releases a new story. Bravo! 6 stars! ~Ratula

Had potential but...
Review*Mild spoilers*This review encompasses all five books in the Elite Kings series.I was intrigued enough to keep on reading, so that’s why this is getting two stars instead of one. This review is for all of the books - I didn’t feel there was much difference between the h/Hs featured in books 1-3 versus 4-5.I am clearly in the minority, but I can’t figure out all the five star reviews. Seriously. The writing was OK but at times confusing as hell.Characters were jerks with very little redeeming qualities. Girls flip flopped quickly - traumatic things happened to them and they just forgave and moved on. Actually, everyone seemed to boomerang from one emotion to the opposite without much transition in between to show any progression from on to the other. It felt flaky.Another thing that become a pet peeve - almost every other page (sometimes every next page), the author was listing a song that was playing in the background and the artist. Noticeable and annoying. In book 3, the writing changed between present and past tense as well.A lot of reviewers touted this as dark romance - it didn’t really feel dark. She did a good job of world building and this had a lot of potential but fell short for me. There was the element of the secret society, drugs, sex, etc., but it didn’t feel truly dark romance. Additionally - the first three books are spent building a couple that is pretty much blown apart by book five. The author is doing something right because I kept reading but the whole time I questioned myself as to why I was continuing to do so, however, I do not think I will be reading the other books in these series. These belong in Kindle Unlimited and are overpriced and drawn out IMHO.If you’re really looking for dark, angsty secret society-ish teen romance, try the Elite 7. Each book is written by a different author, but the effort is spearheaded by Ker Dukey and K Webster who are QUEENS of this stuff.

Tough book
I had a really hard time getting through this book. I really enjoyed Madison and Bishop's story. Yes it was dark but Nate was always my favorite. I was excited to read his and Tilly's story but I really couldn't stand Nate in this book which really breaks my heart. The way he treated her after a big loss to both of them was utterly disgusting and irredeemable. The ending just continued it. I'm not sure I will even read part 2.

Welcome to The Kings Land .... again !
I've just read The End of "Malum. PART 1". My mind is boiled and I can do only one sure thing right now - staring on the wall.If You expect in my review some perfect words, used in perfectly literary way... welll....You won't find them here. My emotions are crazy.... I'm not even sure what's my name 😑 Mrs Amo Jones You ARE GENIOUS !!!!!I was so excited that I came back for The KINGS and their dirty play, but if I would be smarter, I would remember from the past.... THIS author and this boys will ruin me... I would remember that Amo Master Jones will show again where is my place in line - exactly where big girls, like me could curl in ball and cry... Every another Journey with Kings is always like a f rollecoster ride without buckle up.Sweet Jesus I'm not sure where Mrs Jones finds her inspirations... but let it never stop. After reading book no4 in this series I'm still feeling confused... I'm still feeling like junkie on bookish high... and I still want much, much more. NATE... gah You can kick me now, for most of the time I DIDN'T LIKE HIM ! He was dark, he was cruel... he was ruthless ... I still can't understand why he behave in this way, but I've gave him credit...In the end I was soft like butter in sunny, summer day. LAME comparison ??? Unfortunately.... I can't find another, being more accurate.Mrs Jones's idea for Tilie path and character, hit me of the ground... I can assure every reader on this planet - THIS girl knows how to stand up against men like Nate. She is firecracker !!! Tilie had my heart from the first meeting in this series, but in Malum she totally rocked my world!!!! I'm dying to see what twisted ups and downs Amo Jones prepared in Malum PART 2, because BOOK 1st only waken up my appetite !!!!ABSOLUTELY MUST READ

Mind blown, best Amo book ever
THIS BOOK DESERVES ALL OF THE STARS AND MORE!!Amo bleeping Jones! What an amazingly talented author. The silver swan series is one and my favourites and one I re-read time and time again. I thought there was NO way that Amo could top it... well she has just proved me wrong MASSIVELY!!Malum is gritty, Raw, emotional, dark, epic and a complete page turner. You can feel the blood sweat and tears from Amo’s writing just pouring off the page when you read and let me tell you, when you can feel the damn words bleeding into your veins as you read them you know that the book is epic. It’s a book that has touched you and will stay with you FOREVER!!Tillie and Nate.... you think you know who Nate is from the first 3 books but let me tell you, you don’t know a damn thing. Nate made me swoon, sweat, sigh and then make my ovaries go BOOM. Tillie is a badass and I officially have a girl crush on her.I have NEVER sworn at a book and sobbed at a book so much in my god damn life. I honestly don’t know what to think but I will tell you this. Bowing down at the feet of the queen of the dark isn’t enough. Saying thank you for writing this book isn’t enough. Malum is Epic, breathtaking, life changing and will touch your soul in a way you never knew possible. The Kings are back baby and darker and more messed up than ever!!You need this series, Malum and Amo Jones in your life. If you don’t have them then you are missing out massively!I’m off to sob in a corner now.....

Amazing. Addictive. Amo Jones’ best work to date!
I finally got my hands on Nate’s story! I’ve been dying to get a glimpse inside his head to see what really goes on in there for ages.I’m staying away from the storyline in this review because, as with any Amo Jones’ books, it’s best to go into this knowing as little as possible. We met both Nate and Tillie in the previous Elite Kings books (if you haven’t read them, what are you waiting for?) and I’ve been impatiently waiting to get their story. Their already complicated relationship gets even more messed up in this book. There’s a thin line between love and hate and these two have it blurred so much, no one knows where the line is anymore. Nate shows a different side in this book than we’ve seen previously from him. There’s a calculated cruelness in the way he does things now but it’s hard to truly hate him because he also lets his softer side out and that will make you want to swoon (and swoon I did. So many times). Tillie wasn’t what I was expecting at all. I wasn’t expecting to like her as quickly or as much as I did and I’m definitely rooting for her to get her hea. This girl will win you over so fast. She’s probably going to make you want to shake her at some point but you’ll want to do it lovingly. There’s just something about her.Nate and Tillies story is packed with betrayal, lies, secrets and twists galore. It’s fast paced, raw and emotional. The Elite Kings are as intense (and hot) as always and the chemistry between certain characters will leave you needing a cold shower.Malum: Part 1 was everything I’ve come to expect from the brilliant, messed up place that is Amo Jones’ mind. She is my Queen of all things twisted, no one else does mind games like she does. She messes with my mind and has me questioning everyone and everything and I love it! I can’t wait for part two of Nate and Tillies story.

BEST BOOK OF THE YEAR! Nate is utterly mind blowing
Omg where to start with Malum....Nate is simply LIFE! I’m not even kidding when you think the other boys are bad Nate takes the that to a whole new bad boy level. Yes you do want to slap him at times but then you want to jump into bed with the **** lol he doesn’t make it easy for our Tillie when she needs his help but you will find out why pretty fast.Amo I don’t know how she does it but there’s always an evil plot you don’t see coming and boy did she hide this at the end seriously you DO NOT see it coming, I needed mental help after not even kidding.....This woman I tell ya! Good job I adore her.Malum has everything you want from a Amo Jones book and then some I’m still not over it don’t think I ever will be, it’s a book that will leave you questioning your life, questioning Amo as to why she put you through this (I’ll meet her one day and hug the ever loving life out of her) the emotions I went through I can’t even begin to describe and it doesn’t end here....Part 2 baby you will scream!Trust me when I say you do not want to miss out on Malum buy it now...

4 royally messed up stars
Goodness! One thing guaranteed from this series is it will leave you scratching your head wondering what the eff is going on!I have loved this series so far and i'm dying for the next one cause i need those answers! This book continues on from Tacet a Mortuis with Tillie being returned home. She's not sure who to trust but she's concentrating on looking after her daughter and trying to survive. I'm not gonna say more than this because it's too hard not to give spoilers as the story is so complex.I love Tillie. She seems to take everything in her stride, kick her down, she gets back up. Tell her no, she does it anyway. Although you see her vulnerable side she doesn't show it to others only perhaps Nate. Shes been through so much already but the worst is yet to come. I'm not embarrassed to say i shed a little tear for her a few times. I'm hoping in the next book she gets a little bit of happiness because if anyone deserves it it's her.Nate... i'm so torn over him. There are tiny flashes of the fun guy we thought he was in the first three books. A nicer side to him, but all we really see in this book is anger from him. I tried to keep in mind the past and his hurt over thinking Tillie had run off with their daughter but god he made it difficult to like him very much at all. I'm thinking this may be why I've rated 4 instead of 5 stars. I've come out of this book not thinking very much of him at all. I get the sexy a hole when the occasional softer side comes out but i'm not really sure any softer side came out towards Tillie, his daughter yes and those brief glimpses give me hope he can turn my feelings around for him.I do love the tale told in these stories. There's something unique and thrilling about it you can't help but get drawn into the crazy. As with the rest of the series there are questions galore that will have your head spinning like Regan in the Exorcist. Round and round the story goes, where it will stop nobody knows! Except maybe the Kings... and Amo of course!Really looking forward to book 2. I'm biting my nails in anticipation!!! There's a new Queen in town!4 royally messed up stars

Can't get enough of Nate!
Malum is the story of Nate and Tillie, and it's one I've been waiting for based on the snippets we get from this disastrous couple in previous books. Their romance is not an easy one, and is a constant battle. Their love is a total battlefield, and neither side is winning.Tillie is stubborn, feisty and so headstrong, and so is Nate so butting heads is to be expected. This book is painful, messy and destructive but so hot at the same time!Amo Jones destroys me with her mind, every damn time. Her words are full of emotion, and how she writes every scene so meaningful just amazes me. Every book in this series is better than before, Malum blew my mind. Nate made my legs turn jelly!Get reading guys, you will not regret it!
