Q: How comfortable are they to sleep in?

There is NO WAY you can possibly sleep in these! You can't even lay down on the pillow without something being pulled. Poked or proded.

Q: Is it good for long hair

They are! My hair falls to the middle of my back and these rods were able to do their intended job. If you have thick hair or your hair tends to hold on to water, you will probably have to wait a good while for the curl to be fully dry. That was the case for me. My hair was still slightly damp the next afternoon. I sprayed my hair all over with Joico heat protectant spray and used a blow drier to hurry the process. I was able to achieve great results. (Later, I purchased a smaller package of flexi-rods that were a lot longer in length, and I mixed them with this set. I loved the results.)

Q: is one pack enough for you if you have thick hair

NO. IT ISN’T ENOUGH FOR my hair. I have to combine two of the skinny ones together and roll or else it will turn out like straw curls and that’s NOT what I’m going for.
