Painful! Rather like trying to dry out your ear canal with the corner of a credit card, as the compressed sponge is quite stiff. Tapered shape necessary for safety, but was completely the wrong shape to allow access to the trapped water in our ears. Tried on several occasions after swimming, but these never absorbed more than incidental moisture. I'm sticking to ear drying drops.

I’ve had uncomfortable shower water in my ear for the 3 days it took to get these, so happy they came sucked it right out feel much better. Will make sure to always have them in the house

so happy with this product. My son had bad ear infections from swimming so much 2 summers ago. Getting a 5yr old boy to sit still while ear drying drops sit in his ear was awful! these worked like a charm the summer he was 6! no ear infections. Safe. and he could do it himself. I highly recommend vs. drops for small children. We are very happy to have found these tiny sponges.

These simply didn't work for me to remove water from my ears after bathing. Additionally, the end of them is sharp and pointed when dry, so it can easily damage your eardrum if you're not careful. The texture is more like a piece of cardboard than a sponge.

My son has tubes and I get constant outer ear infections. We use these after the lake or swimming and they work great!!!! If you have a child with ear problems you need these!!!
