Miracle-Gro Garden Soil Trees and Shrubs with Moisture Control, Feeds Up to 3 Months, 1.5 cu. ft.

Soil is moist has some chunks in it suitable for outdoor use especially around established plants and shrubs. I've been using top soil to fill in around my tomato plants in grow bags and for baby saplings. It seems to be working pretty well my plants are growing quickly. The other thing is I compared the Amazon price of this soil to a local Menards and the prices are similar. Honestly, I've bought a handful of these heavy bags or dirt now I figure it's time to leave a review!

My first bag was damaged in transit but Amazon replaced it and I'm thankful for that. This is quality soil.

I've used this mix for starting red and white acorns, and for a few apple seeds. So far only used one bag but it's already on the list for resupply.4 stars for value because it is expensive for dirt, but my seedlings love it. I mix 1/2 this and 1/2 my favorite mix (coir, vermiculite, local sandy soil from my yard, and compost from my heap that has been heat sterilized) and the acorns and apple seeds grow very happily and industriously.

Works good but has alot more sticks in it than I thought it would.

My house that I bought has a Magnolia bush that was near death. I had to buy insecticide for it. Someone had chopped part of it off at the base.I needed some premium soil. This is perfect. I actually needed 40 pounds to cover the base and roots. The soil has a very soft feel to it. It protects it from getting to dry or to wet. After 2 weeks I seen buds! It's for trees and bushes. All I could find was potting soil at Lowes and Home Depot. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have ordered this product at least 4 times. The soil is rich and better than most garden soils. And the price is better than most garden soils ! I have been very pleased.
