Cheaper Materials Used
This product is definitely an adorable design. I’ve just ordered the whole collection of Mason Cash In The Forest mixing bowls. I was surprised to see that the materials used to make these bowls has changed. Mason Cash was known for its traditional sturdy heavy mixing bowls and pudding basins. This collection was made with cheap light materials, definitely not sturdy. I was really disappointed and conflicted about returning. They look and feel very breakable, unlikely to last as long as my Mason Cash pudding basins handed down from my grandmother or the vintage Mason Cash mixing bowls you find on occasion in a second hand store. The seller of this product obviously has nothing to do with the Mason Cash manufacturer.

Nice tins but lids could fit tighter
I like the pattern on these three tins that fit inside each other. The coating is good quality and the tins feel sturdy but the lids are a teeny bit too big for the drums. Despite this I don't regret buying these as they feel good quality, especially for the price.

Great for Family baking, steamed and puddings
This pudding basin is joining my grandmother’s mason cash antique mixing bowls and my Mason Cash Forest collection accessories.Perfect for 4 serving pudding.I make my puddings day ahead, foil overnight them in fridge and steam ready for dessert following evening or Sunday roast.

Stone is a rather dark muddy colour
Firstly: a good bowl. Secondly: the 'stone' colour is a bit 'muddy' and doesn't look as good as the plain white/cream bowls. This of course, means that cakes will not be the correct colour and 'stone' only refers to the colour, not what it is actually made of ~ granite, marble, ophiolite . . . .In line with the muppets who reduce stars because their brains don't work, I am knocking a star off because of the colour.Bottom line - a great bowl, but colour is dowdy.

lovely if perfect - where's quality control
Loved the colour very light ivory was a really good size But wax sent to be with a patch of glazing missing from the inside if the bowl making it useless Was obviously is he's like that Where quality control Sadly I've now given up trying to get a good One I've had 5, 3 badly broken one chipped and this I've with damaged glazing What a Shame
