Elite Hockey Achilles Heel Gel Pad

Works fine if you can get it positioned correctly, but annoying for repeated use
Agreed with the other reviews here - the adhesive isn't great, and doesn't seem to work well inside the boot or by sticking onto your foot, as this has a tendency to roll up and scrunch in weird ways. If you can get it positioned just right, this will help with haglund's deformity (bone/inflamed heel), which I've got pretty badly. That said, it's super hard to position well, and I'm going to try the actual bunga pads now.

Not as expected.
These did help a little by creating some padding around achilles, however, if you don't fully loosen skate laces, your heal will roll the pad down.

Pads didn't hold
The pads came of rigt in the first time you put your foots in to the skates! they were useless.

They are good in a pinch
I'm giving these things three stars but I want to state up front that I just realized I've been using them wrong. Apparently, you're supposed to actually stick these things in the heel pocket of the bottom of my skates. I saw these at Hockey Monkey after hearing about "Bunga Pads". I wanted something to help cure my Bauer Bumps (Haglund's Deformity). For $9.99, I thought I would give them a shot. I've had the things close to a year now and they have certainly helped.I personally didn't read any instructions on these (nor do I think they came with any) but I actually stuck the adhesive to my heel and then put socks on over top of them. I think when I first got them, I was taping them on as I prefer to not wear socks. But that became a bit of a task because I kept getting either the tape rolled up or the pad would get scrunched up as I put my foot in the boot. Adding the sock helped keep the gel pad in place while sliding my foot into the skate boot. Needless to say, the adhesive stopped working after the first few times but I've found that if you place the pad on your heel with the pulled on your foot just below your heel/ankle, you can still keep the gel pad in place by quickly pulling the sock the rest of the way up around it.Overall, these are a cheap solution to Bauer Bumps. They are good in a pinch. I've squeezed nearly a year out of a set by using them the way I have. I hate wearing socks but I really don't have much of a choice. I'm going to buy some of the authentic bunga pads now and see how they do. If they are too bulky, I'll probably but a few sets of these as they aren't too bulky and have been effective. They are a bit time consuming though and that is the reason for the 3 star review. They are effective if misused. :) At least for me...

They don't stay in place
These would be great, if they stayed in place. However its pretty much impossible to get your foot into your skate without them rolling down into a sticky ball. Even if you unlace your skate, its pretty much impossible to get them to sit like they are supposed to. The product is a Good idea, but they really don't work, at least they didn't work for me.
