Product was just as described

This was easy to add, did not leak and showed accurate level in tank when valve was open. FYI: When you close the valve on your tank the pressure and gauge will not change unless you drain the hose . I have mine hooked up to a portable heater ( Mr Heater Big Buddy) and it did seem like there was less pressure going through the hose with this valve installed but it still works good. When I finished using my heater I would turn it down to Pilot and then closed off the tank and after a minute or two the pilot light would go out and the gauge on the tank would drop down to empty. Not sure if that is necessary I just felt better with the hose empty, less chance for leakage. Hope this helps.

seems like it should work, tried it on almost empty tank and it read just above the low gas mark on bottom of green. Filled tanks up and it still read in same place, thought it would read up higher in green gas area??? Not sure if it really works or not! bought two of them and tried both and got same results. Your guess is as good as mine. I guess they are made by Blue Rhino because that is what comes up when you go to product info and try to ask question. They did not give me a answer. Oh Well what do you expect for $11

When we BBQ or take the travel trailer out, we don't have to guess or hope there is enough propane left in the tank! Seems like a no brainer. Years ago I had a little flat gauge kind of like those forehead thermometers that stuck to the side of the tank. This is a lot more accurate anyway and having to exchange the tanks now, you won't forget to keep your gauge.

I've only had it a short time, but it has operated as advertised. It is nice to be able to see if the tank is close to being empty.

This item lasted less than three years before ceasing to function. I have owned these units in the past and they have lasted many years under harsh weather conditions in northern winters outdoors. As a matter of fact I gave two away when moving south. They were probably 20 years old or older. This unit has been covered when not in use and subjected to north Florida climate only. I guess things just aren't built the way they used to be. Made in China may have something to do with it. I'm going to look for something comparable made in the USA. Not satisfied at all.

Terrible purchase. Hooked it up to a full tank and only reads above half. Worst part is I could not figure out why my BBQ was not as hot as it should be. Everything seemed fine but when I looked below the flames were to low. I unhooked MR BAR B Q, and fired BBQ back up with it. Flames and heat instantly where they should be. This junk was restricting the flow. Tossed it and took the loss. Win some lose some.

This gauge is exactly what I've been looking for ! It fits the bill perfectly !!

This product is faulty, randomly shuts gas off even when I have a new tank. Couldn't get a refund as it was past my 1 month period.
