Thought the cheaper price on this & random storefront might mean the product would stink... and when I saw the packaging (everything is in Japanese? no English anywhere) I figured I'd been duped as well. But then I used it on my dog, and lo & behold, it was great. My dog (90lb goldendoodle) hates it when we brush him. But in the winter months, we let his coat get a little longer and he can mat up if we're not careful. He also goes to doggy daycare a couple days a week, and he can get pretty grimy there (esp on his long ears). This brush allowed me to comb his ears & his body without a peep from him (usually he growls at me and gets up and runs away). It seemed softer somehow than other slicker brushes we've tried, yet the combs were plenty long enough to get through his longer coat & long ears. And all of the hair that came out (of his ears... that's really the only place he sheds) came out with great ease thanks to the design of the brush (push the button to expose the bristles, then push the button again to make them retract & clear the hair). Really nice brush. Looking forward to brushing my dog now!!

All my dogs LUV this brush. They stand there patiently enjoying the brush! Have purchased other types they don't LIKE. I love that the hair is easily pushed out for cleaning/continuing the brush out.
