It came in a nice package. And my son had fun for all of 2 days before it was falling apart. I need to buy some wood glue so i can try to put it back together.

Decent product!
Just got this ken today and honestly, its pretty good! Right out of the package, weight was pretty heavy, but was almost dead on (81g tama, 79g ken). Spike is at the perfect length and cups are nice and steep. The paint on the tama (ball) is pretty slippery, but you get used to it! Paint chips pretty quickly, but overall, not a bad product!

It's aight
DISCLAIMER: I received this product for free as part of a promotion from Ooyo under the condition that I leave an honest review.Over all this is a decent kendama. It's worth $13, but I wouldn't pay full price (i.e. $23.99 or $21.99)-- there are better kendama you can get for that price. If you just want a cheap jammer, or a buddy wants to get into kendama but is low on funds, this isn't a bad choice.Kendamas are wood products, so there will be variations in each one. That being said, the one that I got is quite decent. My ken (sword+cups) and tama (ball) were nearly the same weight (74g and 76g) respectively. If you are new to kendama, it is preferable that the are nearly the same; this helps with various tricks. Mine was also nice a grainy which I like. The sound is good too (when you catch the ball on a cup or spike it); nice and loud. The design on the ken is solid. Cups aren't loose. It's strung traditionally (i.e. cups are removable), but it has a recessed hole to hold the knot in the sword which is nice. Spike length is decent, and cups are standard size. It's a bullet tip (e.g. rounded point), so you can super glue it right away (this helps preserve the tip from getting smashed). Ken is of a medium width, not thin (old TK or kusa classic) or fat (zen), something like a shin fuji. The tama I got is somewhat eggy (oval), which is a bummer-- maybe others were luckier. Paint is super icy (i.e. slippery), but it is definitely still playable. It may just be hard for beginners to land certain tricks. Also, seems like it probably won't chip a crazy amount. The bevel on the hole is super steep; I believe this will make birds (where you perch the tama on a cup) much harder. As with all kendama, it will take some time to break in to get it in prime playing condition. Note, this means your kendama will get beat up (e.g. dents and chips) when you play it; do not be alarmed, this is part of breaking in. Also, don't expect to land tricks right off the bat, you need to practice. One last comment, I don't particularly like the logo. It feels unrefined. This doesn't effect play at all.
