Toddler Approved!!
This is a great set!! My toddler is currently really into his mega blocks and these are perfect for making gelatin treats or even chocolates. I did make the large Lego man and it cam out great. I used the smaller ones ( the blocks and the little men) but I only had green gelatin and it was just to clear in color to see the detail. I recommend that you use dark gelatin's or add cream to them so that you can really see the details. I think chocolates would come out awesome also. ( Spray with baker's secret spray you can get at any grocer or the gelatin may stick as I had issue with this )Perfect for a birthday party, make chocolates for party favors! This set is also perfect for gifting, if you know a mom with kids that like Legos.Super easy to clean, wash with mild dish soap and warm water. ( I use an unscented dish soap). I pat them dry or just lay them on a dish towel. FIll them using a measuring cup with pour groove or pipettes for the smaller ones. One large pack (6 ounces) of Jell-o made per jiggler instructions was able to fill all the small containers. I used 4 small boxes per jiggler instructions for the large guy.You can make your own with unflavored gelatin and pureed fuit, a touch of agave and this way you tone down the sugar and artificial colors.You can bake a cake, then crumble in a bowl and add some icing, mix it up the blend, line some plastic wrap into the large mold and press in the cake mixture. chill until firm and then pop out. Use some decorator icing to draw on eyes and such!!!!!Love this set. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review and the above is just that! Great set.
