You get what you pay for
The building blocks are very flimsy. If you want the train just get the cheaper set but be warned the train sounds are extremely annoying. I found myself clawing at my ears, while my child seemed to enjoy it. The tracks are compatible and do have a tight fit, but I think I'll be sticking to the official Duplo sets.
