The media could not be loaded.  I have had this insert for about a year and a half now. It's terrific. Love its three power choices for various scenarios. The Q setting is all I need most of the time. If oil is smoking in a pan, I'll go to L. If something has dropped in the oven and is producing lots of smoke as it burns off, I use H. Yes, the L and H are uncomfortably loud - but extremely effective for the purpose, and you don't need that most of the time. It wipes clean nicely, and the baffles are easy to remove and are top-rack dishwasher safe. The lights appear to match my under-cabinet lighting and are not bluish as another reviewer said. See my photo and video. I can't speak to the installation, as it was done as part of a kitchen reno by a work crew.

The media could not be loaded.  Love my new vent hood! I used this to replace our existing microhood 400 cfm which is external exhaust. No issues and simple. It does the job and It is very powerful! it also fit with my existing 15 x 30 cabinet. I did ask carpenter to make me a box hood cover for aesthetics. But could have fit my exising cabinet. A little loud but i compare the sone rating with other under cabinet vent hoodInstallation manual could have been more detailed- like it did not come with power supply and we did not hire electrician to do this. We already have existing duct and outside vent.

Noise level is super impressive. It does a great job with suction whether on low or high. Installation was easy to understand and I was able to install on my own. My son was so impressed with the unit that he changed his old one out for this same model.

Super fan performance and low noise level. The only shortcoming is that the LED lamps only come in bright white color temperature. All of my lighting is soft white (2700-3000K) color temperature. I was able to order soft white lighting modules from Kobe, but at a premium ($70 extra)

It works. It's not a great product but it's pretty good. I would probably return it if it weren't for the fact that my girlfriend will kill me if I do anything that even looks like I'm not finishing the kitchen remodel.1. The grills are entirely covered in protective film. Entirely. Meaning, you have to take the grills apart using a screwdriver in order to peel the film off because they even covered the edges between the two halves.2. The protective film is really poor quality film so it doesn't peel off in one piece. It takes about 45 minutes to peel one grill clean and you end up with a pile of little peices of the protective film.3. The power cord is just a 4" whip sticking out of the top with no good way to conceal the joint (wire nuts). It's too short to put a box somewhere above/behind it. They could have had the decency to leave a long enough power whip to make it look neat. It's a lot easier to cut off extra wire than add more.4. The grills are garbage. In the end, the grills are thin and bend too easily. Since you have to take them apart to peel the film off, it's easy to bend them when putting them back together because they are too thin.5. The lights are not dimmable nor are they adjustable. That's right. They point straight down and you can't change it. They are very bright and you also can't change that.6. The buttons feel cheap and flimsy.Overall it's not a very good product and writing this review has made me change my mind and decide that I'm willing to take the beating and return this product so I can get one that isn't so cheesy.

I swapped out a builder basic ducted exhaust fan for this unit. It’s loud on the highest setting but gets rid of a lot of the smell associated with ethnic cooking. Very notable difference. The baffles are great at trapping oil.For installation - this thing is heavy and doesn’t simply mount to the bottom piece that it’s set on. It requires a frame that’s 26.5” x 10.5” that the sides of the unit need to screw into. So if you’re doing this yourself you will need basic framing knowledge and exhaust fan tape. It comes with a generous cord with the plug attached so no need to purchase a plug and wire nuts.I liked it so much I just put the same unit in my parents’ new home.

There weren't many reviews when I bought this Kobe range hood last year so I was nervous. I shouldn't have been. I use mine almost daily and it does a terrific job. It is sleek enough to use with top-of-the-line electric stainless appliances (I have a Verona), and I can't say enough good things about it. Similar vent hoods were hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars more. Don't waste that money!

Fan looks and works great but the LED lights do not work at all. I just installed it yesterday and now the return window is closed????

The fan was easy to install. It is very easy to clean the filters. We use the lowest fan setting most of the time and it works great and is not too noisy. When needed we use the higher settings which is very effective but noisy.

Ordered it from Amazon much cheaper than wholesalers in Toronto. It's strong and works perfectly

Ne semble pas avoir 900 pcm mais plutôt 600 tout au plus, cher pour la puissance obtenue, je ne croyais pas devoir utiliser la plus grande vitesse à 90% du temps

So...we have had the range hood fan for exactly three (3) years now. It works well exhausting the gas cooktop fumes and smoke. But...it is noisy on full speed. Also, very disappointed that one of the two tabs holding the baffle filter in place broke off. On close examination, it is clearly made in a flimsy manner. The baffle is taken off every 6 months to be washed so at taking it off and putting back in place 6-times the tab broke. Kobe confirmed outside of the 2-year warranty. Had to buy for $35.00 but they gave me a second one free....!! I guess the second one is in anticipation that another tab will break soon!?
