Good kit. A bit tricky but well made
I have made a number of these and really enjoy working with them. I do paint them and have revised the top sections quite a bit and made bases for them. If you paint them, I would recommend painting before assembling.

All-time favorite kit (updated)
This kit is the perfect size, great quality, beautifully detailed, with clear instructions. I painted over mine, so I can't comment on the original colors. I prefer this kit over Greenleaf (leading brand of wood dollhouse kits) as the quality is better and pieces are cut cleanly.I love this kit so much I've purchased two and plan to get more as I finish projects. I wish there were other kits similar to this one! Then I could mix up architecture and decor, but this size is so perfect it's still worth it.I wouldn't recommend this kit for beginners or people with no patience.Update- after completing three kits, I'm still impressed. On the third kit, however, I had many pieces break when removing from the sheet due to burn marks. Unfortunate for quality control, but still only a handful of broken pieces out of three whole houses! I don't mind a diy fix with glue but other people may not have the patience.

I'd never tried to make a 3-D house puzzle before.
pieces popped out easily enough. I used up the teeny tiny square of sandpaper quickly. the further you go, the harder it is to line things up. patience is a virtue. there were bad words. I did complete the project, and I'm pretty proud of it. added a set of cats to create Mrs. Hemphill's Home for Abandoned Pussies. for the price, seemed like a good deal.

I knew I wasn't getting a high quality doll house but I did expect a bit more. The wood is thin and to assemble it there are wood tabs that totally distract the overall look. It is on the small size but might be enjoyed by a child.

Worth the time and effort
Very pleased with the end result. I bagged and labeled each sheet of wood cut outs in their own zip lock bag so that I could paint the interior prior to assembly to give it a more polished look. The pictoral instructions were easy to follow. The kit came with a little piece of sandpaper to smooth some rough edges, which were few.I wouldn't mind making more if they had different styles. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

cute 1/48 scale house.
I had a lot of fun putting this house together and it's instructions were very good and easy to understand. It took me between 4 and 5 hours but only because I spent time removing the pieces and sanding off the burs. The pieces fit beautifully but take your time as the wood is thin. I will definitely build again. 1/48 and O are the same so it would be nice in a larger train landscape.

Nice "practice" doll house
First off, no idea what scale this is. It is not stated anywhere in instructions nor item description. It is small. I purchased this to use as practice since starting my new dollhouse hobby. I painted about 90% of it which consumed the bulk of my time. Took about 7-8hrs to complete. This is Easter themed, however I went with a Valentine's theme. Instructions were not great but not terrible. It helped going thru and labeling pieces with a pencil prior. The tiny included piece of sand paper is a bit of a joke. (It should inc 3). I did glue mine using beacon 3 in1. Very pleased with how sturdy it feels. A few tips; have an exacto knife and extra sand paper or files. If you have trouble punching out pieces use the knife as to not splinter the wood. If painting do so beforehand. Avoid painting tabs otherwise these will need to be sanded. If glueing, dryfit before adding glue. You will at times have to have a gentle but firm touch to get everything snug. Diagrams are accurate so take your time. Keep any loose or little pieces in a baggie as to no lose them. Overall I really enjoyed this build. I'm sad idk the scale. It doesn't seem to be a standard/common size. I mention this cuz it makes adding or making miniatures for decor quite difficult. Even the lil table and chairs it came with are technically too large. I would recommend this kit. I may even consider doing another in the future.

Tricky to get together, but great kit!
Some pieces were tricky to get together, but end product is exactly as shown. Love it
