I foster puppies and some pups have a hard time with crate training and being away from us. This item was so helpful in calming our foster pups down and making them comfortable in the crate. This pup also doubled as a playmate for one of our foster pups and we could hear him growling at it and throwing it around. It’s a great product and works well!

Very durable. Puppy can’t sleep without it but more of a ticking than a heartbeat sound.

Absolutely the best toy for a small puppy. My only issue is to turn it off I hv to take the battery out. Like others, the Velcro could be better. All & all I will but again if it wears out. Good quality

I thought the heartbeat would be more subtle but its like a phone vibrating. My puppy just ended up playing with during bedtime. Otherwise its soft and he plays with it like a regular toy

My elderly dog (12.5) had a stroke 4 weeks ago, and while he has made an almost full recovery physically (full mobility, no vision loss) and is doing well with medications he seems to get anxious when there's noises outside, or we're getting ready in the mornings, or we're wrapping things up at night.While I was searching for ideas the idea of these type of toys came up, and since he has always liked stuffed animals, and has a few Pound Puppies he snuggles with I thought this was a great option.I put it in my shirt for a few days, on and off, and would then let it rest inside one of my go to sweatshirts. I'd let him smell it, check it out and he simply wanted to have it in his bed but I started to introduce it to him when he was starting to get anxious, turn on the heart beat. He immediately settles down, and lays on top of it.Worth every penny.Things I'd keep in mind- my dog is older, at 12, he has toys he snuggles with as well as ones he plays/shreds. This was very similar to his snuggle ones.The heart beat takes AAA batteries, and while there is a button to turn it on, you do need to remove the heart, pop a battery out and back in to turn it off.The heart beat sound is .... odd but I'll deal with it becase it settles my dog.

Our adorable boys love this cuddly puppy so much! My daughter bought this previously for her puppy in October and he slept through the night after adding this heartbeat puppy to his kennel. I knew I had to buy this for my now 4 week old Mini Golden doodles. They absolutely love it. Great quality and super soft.

Update: Unfortunately the heart has stopped working in this after about 6 weeks which is a huge disappointment. Company was supposed to send a new heart for it but after several weeks it still hasn’t been sent to me.This is just adorable. Very soft and cuddly and it sounds like a heartbeat! You can even lightly feel it when it beats. For the first 2 nights our new puppy cried. This arrived in time for night 3. She did not cry that night or any night since then! We also moved her crate closer to us by our bed, so maybe the combination of the 2 things did the trick. She snuggles right up with it in her crate at bedtime.

The toy seems to have too strong vibrations and almost scare our dog away.We keep the vibration off. and let him play.
