Two and a half stars for the GOOD half of the album. Zero for Pedro's trash
Two and a half Stars - Why? The album from 1986 is split between Charly Garcia and Pedro Aznar songs.Pedro Aznar is a talented bass player, but a horrendous composer.Charly Garcia was a genius up until the drugs destroyed him in the mid 1990s. To th is day he has not recovered, artistically.Tracks 1 & 4 are credited to Garcia/Aznar. Track 1 is a hit, Track 4 is obviously a mainly Aznar composition: crapTracks 2 & 6 are Aznar compositions. CrapTracks 3 & 5 are Garcia compositions and the 2 other hits from the album.Five years later (1991) they made a SEQUEL album "Tango 4" - which an even worse album, Aznar or no Aznar. If you must have either album, pick this one. It's shorter, and intended to be a quick EP.Otherwise, you can find the two or three good tracks (1,3,5) in some compilation album.

Garcia 3, Aznar 0
Here's the condensed version: Play tracks 1,3,and 5. Skip 2,4,and 6. Pedro Aznar is a very good bass player, but cannot match Garcia's talent for songwriting. It's like buying a John Lennon album, and programming the CD player to skip Yoko's tracks. Garcia shines in only half (his half) of the album. Aznar just tags along for the ride. This feat, unfortunately, is repeated years later on "Tango 4". It only gets worse.
