I did not notice this when buying but the tie itself is very thick which makes it a little more difficult to tie. If you do a double Windsor knot you will end up with a very big and bulky knot. I like the pattern but don’t like how the thickness of the tie affects the look.

One of the main reasons I bought this tie was for the style. Now that I have it, I can certainly agree that it is stylish. My main problem, as well as many other reviews I read, is how THICK this thing is. I mean, if you use Double Windsor or Single Windsor methods to knot your tie, you're certainly going to run into problems. These problems haven't necessarily made the experience bad for me, though. Use a simple knotless style, and it will look just as good without it.

Was shocked by the quality of this tie. Don’t rub it on your bare skin. It’s a little itchy/scratchy but as far as looking like the picture and not feeling like cheap material this scores high. You never know what’s gonna happen when you order clothes online, so we were pleasantly surprised.
