 The Charcoal Black Handmade Soap by Aurora Active comes with four soaps and one Konjac sponge. Each soap bar is a perfect square shape, measuring just over two inches for the length and width, and just over one inch deep. The soap has a very subtle scent that is barely noticeable. It suds up really well with dark suds that could stain the shower if left un-rinsed. This is, by far, one of the best purest soaps that I have ever used and is even better than the African Black soap that always have around. Most regular soaps cause my skin and my son's skin to itch and they are very irritating. But this Activated Bamboo Charcoal Black soap feels so wonderful on my skin, especially my face. It cleared up my acne pretty quickly and left my skin feeling so soft and smooth afterwards. I didn't realize how good charcoal soap is until I tried this product. The package also came with a one moist Konjac Sponge. I have used many of these sponges before but have never received one that was pre-moistened. Most of them arrive hard as a rock and have to be softened with warm water. I thought that this sponge was defected, but it's not, at all, and is in fact one of the best quality sponges that I have used on my face. This type of sponge also contributes to the elimination of acne and soft smooth skin. I love to use soaps of all kinds. I have a small collection at home and am always looking for one to help a problem or for my pleasure. I have to admit, I chose the Activated Bamboo Charcoal soap because I had never tried a black soap and was curious.The soap itself is ... Black. It is a nice handmade soft soap. The soap never really bubble up but does create a "syrupy" feeling and it does go on your hands nicely. The smell is clean. I don't think I would describe it as floraly, but I would say it smells fresh outside air and does smell good. After using on my hands they feel clean, soft and moisturized. I do not feel like I need lotion. I did use the face sponge that came with the soaps. It was wet feeling out of the bag and did not really feel like it did anything but slip around my face. The soap felt great on my face and I did feel clean after. I do not have acne so I cannot detail that aspect.  The activated bamboo charcoal black handmade soap is just absolutely amazing! I have never tried anything that had the charcoal in it and was actually skeptical how it would work and smell. I really love this soap because for one it has helped my skin with the acne and lets face it acne is not fun and i have dealt with it since middle school. I love how it doesnt have that a charcoal smell to it and the smell is so light i dont even notice it have the time. It also lathers up really nice and i haven't even made a dent into the bar so this is going to last a long time if your'e just using it for your face. It also comes with a sponge which is nice because with using the sponge i felt it made my skin feel even softer and i am happy with it. The bars come individually wrapped so you dont have to worry about the other bars til you're ready to use them.
