Best thing ever!
I don't usually write reviews but I had to with this one! This has to be one of the best things I have ever bought! We have done kinetic sand, Play-Doh, and water play so far. It is sturdy and keeps the mess contained and off the floor (with the exception of small bits tracked out on little feet). I wasn't sure if it would hold up to the amount of water played with --- probably 3 gallons spilled in there, but it did! The floor stayed completely dry. It is thick and sturdy, holding up to my 3-year-old boy who sometimes sits on the sides of it when he squats down to play. When I see this happening, I ask him to move more away from the side and with a little adjustment, the side goes back to it's original shape. It is easy to clean. Depending on the activity, I can either take it outside to dump, or just wipe out with a paper towel. I am so much happier not having to work hard to contain the mess, and the kids enjoy the freedom to play without mom trying to do damage control.

Great for containing messes
Worth every penny! My toddler and I have made lots of messes in it that were easy to wipe up (paint and orbeez mostly) and kept contained from the rest of the room. One note is that it's really slick when wet and so I put some tub grip stickers on the bottom to prevent my daughter from slipping after the first time it happened. Would give this product 5 stars if it came with a non-slip surface (it's just a tarp as is).

sensory activity mess under control
Exactly what I was looking for! My toddler loves playing in it and I love the fact that I don't need to worry about crazy mess all over the floor. It is water proof, kind of like thick woven vinyl that doesn't stain easily.I recommend putting the mat on top of the baby mat/foam puzzle if you have a hard floor because it can get quite slippery when it's wet. After all the fun activity, I use my hand to pick up whatever I see in there and then use towel and water to clean it. If there's any oil residue, use baby wipes. Some fun activity ideas:Water beadsGlass noodlesCooked pastaBall poolFinger painting (edible finger painting works great with toddlers and babies)

As long as kids don’t throw it around, it will contain stuffs.
It definitely helps keeping things in! When my three yo daughter plays sensory bin, it helps keeping them in. We tried flour based sand play and color rice, and definitely cleaning was easier.

Worked well overall but huge static cling issue
It contained most of the sand, play dough and other sensory items we use for our children. The sides don’t always stay up. A little annoying to fold. Biggest issue is that it creates a static cling to hair on the floor and it’s hard to remove. If you have pets the whole thing would be covered with hair.
