Worked flawlessly for my 2016 Jeep Patriot. You gotta have a working key so that you can go get the new key duplicated first and then you just follow its directions. The new key also comes with a battery installed so you don't need to buy one just so people know. Way cheaper than a dealership replacement key and now I have a 2nd spare key as well a win win. Great product and directions are easy to follow.

The product performed excellently and was user-friendly. It's crucial to follow the instructions carefully to avoid having to redo the process. Once I adhered to the directions, everything went smoothly, and the product worked as expected. I successfully programmed multiple keys without any issues.

I had a key made for over $100 and it never worked right. Every time I would lock my car the horn would start honking out of nowhere. I would have to unlock and the lock again in hopes my horn wouldn’t go off. I was looking for a resolution for a key replacement I can do on my own. Ran into this product and for the price decided to give it a shot. This product by far exceeded my expectations. Simple to program. I took the key to Home Depot to have it cut. Then took it home programmed it and has been working perfectly for over two months now. I now have the ability to program more keys if I need them. Great product.

ITEM WAS ALREADY USED AND THEREFORE COULD NOT PROGRAM A KEY FOR MY VEHICLE.SEALS WERE ALREADY BROKEN YET WAS STILL SHIPPED TO ME....CRAZY!!!...WHAT AN AGRIVATION AFTER I ALREADY WENT THROUGH A BIG HASSLE JUST TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO EVEN FINALLY CUT THE KEY....UPDATE; WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET AMAZON TO REFUND ME BUT I ENDED UP HAVING TO SEND THEM THE NEW KEY I HAD TO HAVE CUT TO TRY PROGRAMMING FIRST THAT DIDN'T PROGRAM..NOW SOMEONE HAS A COPY OF MY KEY TO GET INTO THE DOOR BUT TRUCK WILL NOT START. STILL NOT HAPPY THAT A KEY FOR MY VEHICLE IS FLOATING AROUND SOMEWHERE IN AMAZON OR WHERE EVER IT WENT ALL BECAUSE AMAZON GAVE ME A USED PROGRAMMER.HOPE THEY DON'T SEND MY RETURN BACK OUT AGAIN TO SOMEONE ELSE.NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO SEE IF IT WOULD EVEN PROGRAM AND NOW I'M SCARED TO TRY AGAIN. This worked perfect, I was able to get the new key cut at a local hardware store for about $2 and it took less than 5 minutes to program the key fob. I wish there was an option to buy to key fobs or an extra fob from this manufacturer. I bought a different replacement 2-pack fob from another company and only one worked. These are far superior.

I purchased the Simple Key product a few years ago for my 2010 Ford F-150 XL. Worked like a charm and had a new key programmed within 5 minutes!Now I have a Jeep Wrangler so I bought this specific Simple Key for my model, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport.The directions were to press the lock/unlock buttons in a sequence on the current key fob and that I should see a light come on blinking. Well, there's no lights on the OEM key fob so I "assumed" in meant the Jeep's dash. There was a light blinking there but it wasn't in the sequence according to the instructions. Must have tried it 10 times to no avail.Let me make clear, my Jeep has an alarm system on it that, I do believe is causing the issue. I could be wrong but I don't want to mess with the alarm system. So, I took the key to my local key shop and, for $40, they programmed the key and everything works as it should.So, in the end I have a key that works but a never-plugged-in programming system that is now useless to me. (Since Jeep owners have a huge following I'll see if anyone wants to take it.) Again, I cannot say that this product was defective because the one I bought for my truck was awesome! But the instructions for this particular Jeep model could be more detailed and accurate.I WOULD recommend this product for a couple of reasons:1. Even at $100 it's WAY cheaper than going to a dealership who has to schedule an appointment then will charge you $400!2. It worked flawlessly before for a 2010 Ford F-150.3. The Simple Key has a great customer support as they reached out to me when I went on their website. (I never responded but the fact that they are there for the customer is a rare thing these days.)If you're on the fence about this product I would say to purchase this Simple Key kit. Even if you can't get it to program your key you can give their customer service a call and they'll get you squared away. If it still won't program your key after that I'm willing to bet they'll refund your money. But even if they don't I'd rather buy this and have a chance at programing another key as opposed to paying a few $ hundred for a locksmith!

Had new keys cut. Read and followed directions. When I plugged in new pairing device it gave error beep pattern that it had already been used on a different vehicle. Reread directions, followed steps, same error. Tried 3-4 times, same error pattern which shows it is in fact working properly, just has already been used. Device had tape on it showing it was supposedly new. Company gave phone # for customer support but closed on the weekends. I have to call them when they’re open, so will update review after.7-28-2023 update: First pairing device was not flashed before resold. Returned and replaced with flashed device. Worked great. Very simple to use and saves significant money! Order directly from company to ensure initial device will work. Otherwise, Amazon is great with returns, but run the risk of extra time.

Worked like magic. And it definitely saved me couple hundred bucks!

Very easy to use ,took only a few minutes to program

Only had one key for my Jeep Patriot. Dealer quoted $433.00 + tax. Locksmith quoted $250.00, maybe $265.00 + tax. Left message with a couple of mobile key/ car unlocking services, they never retuned my calls (business must be good...) Purchased this kit from Amazon for $154.18 (tax + duty + shipping included). Arrived within a couple of days. Had the key cut for $2.25 at a local locksmith. Took 5 minutes to program, and VOILA!!!! Now, I don't have to worry about loosing my key!

Programming and key did not work for me even after changing battery in key remote. Was hopeful after reading good reviews. Returned item 2 weeks ago and have not received refund yet

The instructions was really easy to follow..i have no problem programming the key..now i have a keyless remote entry..quality of the fob key its really authentic for the the price was affordable..not like what dealerships sell that really expensive.
