Perfect above master bedroom fan

I originally purchased a pre-painted medallion because I didn't have experience painting faux finishes of brushed bronze. Unfortunately, the colors shown on the monitor are poor indicators of the actually painted product we received so it had to go back and I purchased this medallion that was only primed for painting. I went on YouTube to search for video instruction on how to create a oil rubbed bronze finish, bought two paints (sprayed bronze + antique gold) and did it myself. Came out looking really nice and I'm NOT an artist. Overall happy with this purchase.

We used this medallion in our entryway. We bought a modern light fixture to make the decor more fun and thought it went well with a traditional medallion. This medallion has just the right amount detail and is very classic without being overly stylized. We painted it with ceiling paint and used the light fixture to hold it up (you can see how we did it in the pic). No glue needed because it's so light. There's no way it's putting any pressure on or adding any weight to the fixture. I'm so happy with how it turned out!

Absolutely beautiful! Love the material. They were easy to paint. I highly suggest having someone help you install. It was a little hard doing it alone! But I would definitely buy these again. The only thing to note was my fixtures mounting bracket was larger than the inner whole. So I had to finagle the setup a bit.i had to use two mounting brackets and put the new bracket on the outside of the medallion! (see second picture) I would buy your light first and measure before hand so you don’t run into this issue!

We bought this to go between our ceiling fan and ceiling in our bedroom. We are very impressed with the way it looks, and how it stayed flat after mounting the ceiling fan. We did run a bead of caulking right around the edges and the ceiling and then painted it with ceiling paint and it looks as though it's a very expensive and handcarved cover. We will be buying these for the rest of our lights and ceiling fans in the house.
