Worked like a champ. Threw away the cheap string pull chain that came with it.

Just what I needed.
I needed a replacement switch for a ceiling fan, as the portion that secures the switch to the fan housing had broken. The new switch, while a different color, was just right, and it came with an explicit wiring diagram to make installation fool-proof.As a note: the original wiring was stripped and dipped in silder to make them more rigid and easy push into the quick connect terminals. Quick connect terminals are so secure, that you won't be able to pull them out of the old switch, which gives you two alternatives: 1.) cut the wires from the old switch and strip them, or 2.) bust the old switch apart. choice 2. is what I did, and it saved a lot of time, as the solder-dipped ends are much easier to deal with than either plain stripped wire, or attempting to solder dip them yourself.

Direct replacement for many ceiling fan switches
Your fan switch chain may wear out after years of use, this is a basic, direct replacement for many models. Doesn't cost a lot and it is quite easy to install.

Easy replacement
So easy to fix the fan switch in my daughters room! She had yanked the chain out of the socket being a bit too rough. Found it on Amazon, it arrived just in time for warm summer nights.

They should have said don’t take out wiring first match each wire as you take out with new switch
