Used this to insulate a metal pump house.
I was going to use rigid foam insulation, and then I found this stuff and thought it would be much easier to use in a drum shaped cone topped metal structure. Did it about a month ago and I do believe it was the easiest solution. It keeps the pump house about 10 degrees higher than outside and maybe more at lower temps, but I have a heater set to come on when the temp gets to around 35 and it has the ground as a floor so may get some heat from that.The humidity really goes up in there if the heat is not running because there's no air exchange and the metal sweats. I'm hoping there won't be too much mildew growing between the wall of the drum and the insulation, but at least the insulation won't harbor it if it does grow. I'll probably add a little USB fan to exhaust it eventually. It will be interesting to see if it stays cooler in there when temps reach 100 here in the summer.I'd recommend this stuff for its effectiveness and relative ease of application.
