Q: How many triggers can i have for this? for example, can i have 3 sounds and 3 seperate triggers or buttons?

There is 0-9 triggers on it. Yes they are triggered individually.

Q: I am unfamiliar with small electrical engineering. I am want to know if this would work to simply record a dinosaur sound, then when triggered play?

Yes. Once the sound file is converted to ogg format and given the appropriate name, grounding the corresponding pin makes the sound. Mine was a doorbell.

Q: Hypothetically, if I were to use this to build a lightsaber, would it work, and what else would I need?

In theory, for sound yes. But you would need a battery pack, a speaker and a switch as well as a "chassis" or holder for all of this inside the lightsaber. Also, it would likely not be able to drive any decent amount of power for an LED light for a lightsaber. The better idea would be to get a purpose built soundboard for lightsabers. Such as a Proffie board, a Crystal Focus 10, a KR Sabers Verso, a Golden Harvest. These are all soundboards that are under $100 that are specifically designed for lightsabers. They have motion sensing, LED strip support, etc.

Q: My board is playing a track that i did not load. it keeps saying "right". how do i get this to stop?

Its been awhile since I used this board. As I remember, once the board is plugged into a PC, it looks like a flash drive. The board is playing a "right" file that is saying the word "right". If this file is deleted, then it will no longer say "right". Google, and find examples on how to convert a mp3 file to the "right" format.
