Leading Lady Sports Bra for Women - The Serena Wirefree Sports Bra

I often have pain where the bra band is (costcochondritis) and have spent years looking for bras that have bands that don’t bind. This one came with a band of over 50 inches which means I am not being painfully bound. Unfortunately designers seem to think that if you are fat, you must have big boobs. I would have preferred a cup size of A or B, but the front of this bra (not really cups) is made to accommodate B-D cup sizes. I’m really hoping that someday bras will go the way of girdles.

As someone who has sensitive skin and can't wear clothes made of plastic, this bra is so COMFY and COTTONY, I bought a 2nd one! Generously sized, too.

I love this bra to wear with casual clothes and around the house. It provides support without discomfort. It washes great without shrinking.

I bought these for a friend who has a hard time as a large woman with finding support during workouts and mostly because she has HS. Regular bras, or other manufacturers who make plus size sport bras, have been known to cause her HS to flare. Her sores get worse. While the support isn't super high, it is a medium support for her. It allows her to move and still captures the sweat away from the skin and her HS. It is super breathable because it is 95% cotton compared to other big brands. This means your skin will thank you later. She also told me she wears these around the house and her HS doesn't flare as often and they're super comfortable. So I feel like I did something right here. They're worth every penny. She is on the much larger end of the scale. So if you're worried, give this a try. It has a generous stretch and doesn't dig into her skin. She did say the grey ran a tad smaller than the black. Not enough to cause alarm but enough to notice the stretch wasn't as high. She gave me the biggest hug. Best of all, they're affordable. I hope this review helps someone with HS or similar issues finding a sports bra when you're a very large woman.

I don't use the sports bra to exercise in. I got tired of hooks and adjusting straps so tried a pullover sports bra. Some dig in here or there. At the band area, the shoulder, somewhere. But this one did not have any spot that was uncomfortable. One complaint, which I have had with all of the sports bras I have tried, sweat seems to be a bother between the breasts and one very long day became itchy. But I think that is more the result of a 92 degree day, with high humidity, which made me want to take up residence in front of a fan all day. Being a decent sewer, I should get off my butt and make one that fits both of the girls.

I read a ton of reviews and decided on this one for any down time at home. I did order a size larger as so many said we should. It fits perfectly and I will be buying more soon. I have found some for less than the $26 I paid here but they never fit right and were uncomfortable.PROS:- comfort band at the base that holds it close to the body without riding up!- NO digging into my shoulders. No sense of binding or pinching or any level of discomfort- Quality 96% cotton, 4% spandex gives just enough flex while maintaining firm control- Workout flexibility and moisture control when you work up a sweat- Prevents skin to skin sweating which can result in rash and irritation- Easy pull over is factual. I didn't have a problem at all- 24x7 comfort which means it's comfortable to sleep in as well as work out in- BEST SPORTS BRA FOR BIG BREASTED WOMEN!- Holds up well wash after wash (but be careful of slight shrinkage if you do anything other than hand wash)CONS:- Since there is some shrinkage with washing and drying...best to hand wash as recommended unless you buy larger size. I planned ahead based on reviews and have had NO Problems.As a result...this item holds a STRONG 5 STARS and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I expect it to hold up well in the future. If it doesn't, I will update later. So if you don't see any updates after this, you can guarantee that the days of wearing pleasure continue forward. Enjoy!

Comfortable

This bra was lovely and was made very well but was too small (by about four sizes!). Will be buying this one again but in a much larger size.
