I have several serious issues with my feet. The most serious issues are caused by the fact that my nerves don't work in both of my feet and ankles, as well as below my knee. This has caused severely advanced atrophy (loss of muscle mass, thinness of skin etc.) I also have acute arthritis which has led to severe joint disease, damaged tendons and bones, bone spurs including 6 shark fin spurs and not only bone on bone rubbing at the joints, but on several places where the small foot bones are and especially at my big toe joint there is no more smooth bone..So it is rubbing shard to shard! As I still have functioning nerves on my bones, this is all as painful as it sounds. All of the time, I have bone and/or nerve pain. The only treatment is amputation, so the docs say. These pads are so soft and protect my thin skin areas, places my bone spurs hit the little bit of flesh I have, and all of the other structural abnormalities. With all of the choices of protection, the various shapes and ways of attachment, this kit allows you to pick a configuration that is precisely needed to minimize foot pain. I keep the ones that I commonly use in my purse so they can be changed according to pain, swelling and shoes worn. I am so glad someone thought to package such a variety together! These various cushions and spacers are so expensive when you purchase as many as this kit contains separately, you can imagine that the cost would be astronomical for someone like me! But, all of these together, the variety of pain relief options that the various pieces give me, (depending on the days' activities and that day's pain issues) are as cost effective as they are soothing. I highly recommend!

These silicone pieces are solid, so they have less give than some other brands. This is useful for me, because I wear some separators all day, and the splints overnight. The splints are by far my favorite, but if you have severe bunions, you might find these a little aggressive. The splint itself is metal, and there are a few nights when I've woken up from it aggravating my feet. I wear the sleeve with it, and that helps a little, but what you really need to do is be careful how quickly you tighten it and give your bones time to adjust. It's very much like braces for your feet, so you can't go from zero to sixty without some pain.

It is helping me walk better and, I believe, will help me to avoid surgery.Do try this product if you are suffering from bunion related arthritis and foot problems in general. Bunions are all caused by wearing fashionable shoes that narrow at the toes and push your toe the opposite direction, and gradually, over time, they stay that way-- hence, foot surgery--especially for those high heel junky. I have wide feet AND was on point in ballet -- so I'm suffering the effects of this now. This product is much better for sleeping in -- see the black supports there-- those CAN be worn at night comfortably. I cannot say that about any other product except Dr. Frederick's also wonderful gel pads. Thanks to both!

My toes are happy! I recently irritated the bunion on my left foot, it has been sore for days. I owned another toe spacer product but I could not walk when using it do to its size. This package of options is perfect for my situation, I tried all of them on until I found the combination that worked best. I completely recommend this product, great value!
