Dont worry about the fit. It’s fine. The material is thin and doesn’t feel like wool. As a student, it’s fine, but if I were more of a grown up who wore high quality clothing, I’d be disappointed. If I saw it in a shop, I’d pay no more than £5.

This beret fitted the bill (or the garden scarecrow) perfectly. It is good quality for the price paid as it is quite thick material. We bought it to decorate our evacuee (and Spiv) for VE day celebrations. I did try it on and it fits well and doesn't ping off your head. It weathered well in all conditions over a week in the garden and hasn't faded. Washed on cool wool wash in machine (on its own) and it didn't shrink and the colour is fine.

I first bought a beige/cream beret to match with neutral look last year, and I loved it!This year I wanted something bright and cheerful so I bought red and I love this one too!The quality is just right its not too thick and heavy but still keeps the head warm. I would say I have a very small head and the fit is great. Can easily dress up or down. I might buy another one in a few months time....!! Much prefer to buy wool from here rather than cheap high street shops or overpriced “designer”. This companys a dream!

Ordered beret from another seller, returned upon arrival as very bad quality.Had to find alternative, so ordered this but it's exact same Low quality product, fuzzy with areas thinning (See pics).I can't say how it fits or feels, because it was visible through the thin cellophane bag that it came in, that it was bad quality.Fuzz coming away from band before item even open and you will see the area at the top that is woven so thin/badly that you can see a large area of tiny holes.Granted, these might not show when on head, especially if you are dark haired, but I can't say for sure.Truth is a well made, or even passable beret does not have a 2" diameter of perforation in the middle/top of the hat!I am certain that this item is manufactured by the exact same company as the beret I purchasedand returned days before, and I suspect too that there is possibility that the two sellers are one and the same.

Good quality, and a reasonable price. I have bought lots as I wanted some for dressing up purposes for children. However, the fabric composition labels differ from beret to beret, eg, 30% wool and 70% Acrylic (turquoise, yellow and red berets), but 70% wool and 30% acrylic (Fuchsia beret). I haven't checked the other labels yet but it doesn't really matter; I'm happy with them. The fit is fine for me and also seems to fit a child's head. If you like berets and want a great assortment of colours, give these a go!
