In short supply by design?
Not as pictured. The bottle I received is much shorter but has 2 oz vs 1.7 oz. On Arganistry website, the MSRP is $36. $48 is just price gouging. But I guess...it's in short supply. I think that's intentional. I like the product.

It works but I don't reach for it because it sits on the skin rather than sinks in
The serum works, it feels very moisturizing and like several other reviewers, I purchased this at a TJ Maxx for a price too good to turn down. The product just sits on your skin though and never fully absorbs.Trying this out in the morning: I followed my normal skin routine and added this serum before my moisturizer. I let it be for 40 mins (!!) and when I went to add my moisturizer on top it all just pilled up. I had to wash my face again to get all the little bits off. Just to sanity check it I tried using it again several weeks later, again letting it sit for almost an hour before I went to try adding primer on top of it. Just as before, the primer pilled all up and I had to start from a clean face again.Trying this out in the evening; Once I ruled out using this in the morning I decided to try it as part of my evening routine but unsurprisingly I ran into the same issues. Given that this is a serum it should be used before a moisturizing, with the idea that the ingredients in the serum are lighter than a moisturizer and would have a better chance of making a difference without something heavier between them and your skin. So using this at night means no nighttime moisturizer as part of my routine. For me the trade-off just isn't worth it.
