This is a great pool rail cover/grip. Does knock down the heat considerably, especially if you splash a little water on them. I am disabled and helps me a lot to get into my pool.Fits very well and is snug. That having been said, they are tricky to put on, mostly zipping over the bends in your rail. Discovered that using a pair of pliers is very helpful to hold on to the zipper and pull on it. They say you can remove them to clean them or not use them in the off season, however I probably will not remove these as zipping them on was somewhat labor intensive.

This is an amazing product, invaluable particularly if you live in a very warm climate. We discovered Koolgrips while vacationing in Palm Springs and the hotel's pool had these on all metal pool railings. We bought one for our pool's railing and it keeps the rail very cool to the touch -- no more trying to cool the railing by splashing pool water on it and hoping for the best. We didn't take ours off during winter (as you should do, to prolong the Koolgrip's life) -- yet we still got two full years of use out of it, which is fantastic. It's EASY to install. The product is worth the price, durable, you can clean it with a gentle soap scrub and thorough rinse, and I cannot say enough good things about it. Buy it for safety's sake -- no more scorched hands because the sun has super-heated your pool railing!

If this rail cover was a 16th of an inch wider, it would be perfect. Well constructed and excellent ot look at.

It’s covering the stainless steel handrail on our pool. The quality is as good or better than expected. I selected “3” for “Easy to install” because it is VERY snug. It required considerable “massaging” to get the sides of the zipper close enough to advance the pull/slider. Within the inner radii of the curves, the zipper bunches a bit, but it remained connected. Despite the installation efforts, I’d still recommend it, or buy it again.

The title says it all. This is well insulated. It's a bit of a pain to get on, but once there is a good safety feature.

Fits well and they last a long time. Was easy to install and great quality
