Pink Lovely Sweet Hello Kitty Soft Silicone Skin Case Cover Shell Protector for Iphone 5 5g 5th

I've had this case for a few weeks now, and so far no complaints. I searched on Amazon for a Hello Kitty case, and after reading many negative reviews on many other Hello Kitty cases, I decided on this phone case. I am not disappointed. The pink is a nice bright color, and the material is soft yet sturdy enough. The Kitty image is nice and bright, and no ink has faded thus far. It fits my iPhone 5 phone well.

I purchased this Hello Kitty iPhone 5 Case as an "inbetweener" while my standard Speck CandyShell Grip (also purchased from Amazon) was being replaced by Speck due incurred damage. I didn't want to spend much on it as I knew I'd be using the case for no more than 2 weeks. (I'm not one to switch cases up. Once my Speck is on, it doesn't come off unless the Apple Genius Bar requires it.) However, I wanted something protective and not black (I can never find my phone in my bag when it's in a black case.) My other requirement was being able to order via Amazon Prime as I didn't want to wait for weeks for it to arrive, nor did I want my phone to be unprotected for even a short period of time. These needs limited my options significantly.Overall, the Pink Lovely Sweet Hello Kitty Soft Silicone Skin Case (great name) was exactly what I needed. It was very inexpensive, arrive on time, and fit my iPhone 5 perfectly. The design is better and more detailed than the images indicate and the silicone is thick enough to protect the phone in a purse. I expect it would also be enough to prevent damage if dropped on a corner, though I didn't test it. Both the Hello Kitty image and words in the center of the back of the case are raised, while the different Hello Kitty images underneath are cut into the silicone.The two big downsides are the odor and flexibility of the silicone. Upon removing the case from its simple plastic bag, I noticed an unpleasant odor when I brought it close to my face. No matter what I did, I was unable to get rid of it. This made me suspect the case was actually not made of silicone, as pure silicone products should have no scent. However, as it did finally disappear on its own after the first week, I will give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt. It may be the raised design on the back of the case that was off-gassing, not the case itself. I am very sensitive to smells, so this may not be an issue for others and it did not impact my ability to use the case. (I almost never hold the phone to my ear. I use the speaker phone or earbuds.)The reason I wouldn't use this case all the time is because the silicone is too soft. This flexibility makes it easy to put on and take off the case, far easier than my Speck. The problem is that the lack of structure allows the case the pull away from the phone too easily as well. This was an issue when removing the phone from my pocket. If my jeans were at all snug, the silicone would catch on the material. Sometimes by the time I had fully removed my phone from my pocket, one corner of the phone would be exposed. As this is a prime phone dropping opportunity, it made me very uncomfortable. Design-wise, the quality is great, as is the fit. I have no problem using the phone in the case. Buttons are easily pressed and the silence switch is accessible. If you like to switch up your phone case frequently or are looking for decoration with some protection, this Hello Kitty case is a great option. It met my requirements and served its purpose, so it was a worthwhile purchase for me.If you're klutzy, constantly pulling your phone from a pocket, or want serious, consistent protection, I suggest looking elsewhere. My phone is now back in its Speck, which not only provides much more protection, it also has a slightly slimmer profile.

Just perfect! Hottest, brilliant hot pink color! Can't take my eyes off the pink! Fits the phone perfect. Nice and secure and the hello kitty emblem stands out brilliantly clear. Love it! I am a Hello Kitty freak, and at 65 yrs. young, I actually have a room of HK things, and many several kitty cell cases. I rotate them all the time! Thank you

This is definitely one of the best phone cases I have ever had!!! It fits my phone perfectly and gives it perfect protection! Not to mention it's super cute!!

This is a nice flexible rubbery material and the case is beautiful. However it falls off easily and my gf seems to think it gets loser over time. Still a great deal tho.

Arrived quickly and in perfect shape. This case covers the back, sides and front (some don't cover the front). I like the silicone, seems to provide a bit more protection than plastic.
