Good listening for a good price.
I wouldn’t say this is “endgame” quality(to use a community term), but it’s pretty good. Paired it with a battery powered mid sized dac amp playing off of my phone/tablet’s FLAC files. Recommend on sale.

Beautiful.
Coming of the heavy LCD X, this felt much lighter and comfortable however I am still getting used to the earcup design where the end rests kind on your neck. The sound is beautiful espcecially when tuned to the harman curve using eq.

Incredible
This is just an incredible headphone. Soundstage is mindblowing. Instrument separation, bass is just perfect. The only drawback of these - some bad records that you have will sound meh on these. I found only few, but what can you do. These headphones reveal everything in the music.Regarding the fit - they are SUPER COMFY. I can sit in them all day not feeling any fatigue. However, the first day I wore them i felt a pressure on my jaw (something i saw some other people noting). What you do is you either let them break in for couple days or you grab the band by opoosite ends and gently unbend it. After that this feeling of pressure was gone, just a pair of clouds on your head. Also i had a chance to compare them with Meze 109 Pro.... Saw a lot of debates regarding who's better. My take on this after 3 hour long back to back session - 109 Pro don't even hold a candle to these cans. Soundstage is a joke compared to Aryas. Also 109 can sound boomier in everything, until you get to records which supposed to have a punchy bass, and then Aryas leave them in the dust. As for the highs - Aryas can perfectly represent the highs, without sounding screechy or losing any information. 109 just fall apart (literally they can't take on the highs past a certain point).

Some of the best headphones under 1000 EUR
For this product you might wanna switch to YouTube and watch some reviews there (e.g. DMS). Note that most reviews were made in 2022 when these still cost 1600 USD / close to 2000 EUR -- and the reviews are still very positive. And I agree with the reviews. These are excellent allrounders. Jack of all trades, master of none. I still advice to use EQ, but it's not like you couldn't listen to them without. Some things beyond what the reviews say:- compared to Beyer 1990s (both EQ'ed to the same target): Better subbass (they make your neck rumble on higher volumes), allow for more subbass to be EQ'ed in, slightly larger sound stage, slightly better imaging, slightly less "punchy" but not by much, clearly more comfortable.- they now (Q3 2024) come in a simple cardboard box and look identical to the Arya V2, the only remaining visual difference is the driver itself: look for green shimmer and the "triple rings" of the reflecting traces. Oh and the box has a golden sticker that says Stealth Magnets.

Absolutely brilliant
These are the clearest, widest, most natural sounding headphones I have ever used. The have loads of detail too. Not cheap, but considering the wonderful sound you get and the fact that they cost well over £1,000 just a couple of years ago I think they are fantastic value for that money. The only issue they have is cosmetic - that the adjustment mechanism scratches the anodised metal headband to ribbons. I've only adjusted these once, and you see the result. Disappointing for a premium headphone.
