The were minty and pretty in my candy bowl

These were bought so I could melt them and make dewdrops on some cookies. Worked like a charm. The peppermint is not taste is not strong, very mild when you eat them.

good candy. Took off one star because of inconsistency in flavor. The flavor is good but the strength is inconsistent. Some are very strong and others are more mild or toned down. Like them both but would be nice to know what you're going to get. I would buy it again.

I was expecting something with strong peppermint taste. These tasted like pure sugar.

I'm a big fan of a competing major brand but this one was a happy surprise! The flavor of mint slash peppermint is strong and it doesn't feel artificial. The candies are very hard, and that's sometimes exactly what you want when you want a peppermint candy. They also last a bit in the mouth and just a couple is all you need to satisfy that sweet tooth.

I ordered the Matlows Crystal Mint hard candies because a friend recommended them. The pros are that they have a mild peppermint flavor and are not gaggy sweet. They leave a refreshed feeling in your mouth. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed them. I would buy them again. The only con might be the size of the candy. It is roughly 1 1/4” long and 1/4” thick and oval shaped. If you prefer a smaller size mint, this may not be a good choice.
