Home Changer
The NuBryte Touchpoint has changed our home, and definitely for the BETTER! Dimming lights, the power to control the lights from our phones on the couch, and the motion sensored night light are just the a few of the high points for our family. We also love the ability to set timers for the kids chores, they've enjoyed this more (at least for the time being). We've never had a home security installed, so this feature was also key for our purchase. Our switch is located in our main living area, right by the garage entry door, so the comfort of protection is a welcomed feeling. Another purchasing decision factor for us was the fact that our homes current lighting didn't have to be switched out to become "smart". A quick, easy, and painless installation of about 30 minutes and our home was ready with the same bulbs that were there previously. The price is right for moving your home into the next generation. Highly recommend the NuBryte Touchpoint System.

Good idea - but needs a lot of software improvements - alarm was too sensitive, keeps going off
I have had this product for 30 days, and tried it for 30 days and tested it many times as well. It doesn't work properly. The manufacturer needs to work on the sensitivity issue and also the phone app. The alarm goes off all the time, and I have it facing two windows and two doors, so that if anyone breaks in through the front of the house, it will go off. However, the alarm is SO sensitive, that even when a car drives by with lights on, even though not pointing directly to my windows, the alarm still goes off. I tested it once by activating the alarm, leaving the house and standing outside the door. I moved, and even though I was outside the door, it still detected the movement and it triggered the alarm. The phone app only has a 30 sec countdown, and if you select the 30 sec countdown on the panel settings, then when you use the app, it doesn't even countdown.

Expensive Light Switch
Not really worth the money. If you are going to go smart home, work from a item like Echo or one of the other hardware. Glitchy.Update and down grade. The weather feature is stuck at 69. This is a replacement unit Nubryte sent because the first unit did the same thing. Pictures are of the Nubryte and a screen shot of the weather app on my phone taken within a minute of each other.

Has many bugs.
I bought this unit with the hopes that it would be everything that it says thatis. This was plagued with problems like I would get text messages for security problems and video sent to my phone with nothing on the video or nothing happening in the room lights would be flickering when power was on and when power turned off. I tried to remove the unit and put it in another location see if it will work better. This dId not solve the problem. I am unsure if I just got a broken unit or a a bad product. contacted customer service and had no luck fixing the problem.

It looks great on wall
The feature I wanted this most for was motion sensor camera/alarm.. I think the price may be a little steep considering what I valued in it. It looks great on wall, you can check weather and calendar. Downfall is this did not work for my dining room. I'm not sure if it was my chandelier that it was not compatible with or wiring in my 1900's home. Bummer. Amazon was great about getting me a return shipping label and refund quickly.

Loving my Nubryte
The reason I bought the Nubryte against other smart products was because this one requires no special light bulbs. My house has more than 100 light bulbs and I didn't want to change all of them. Nubryte works with any kind of bulbs. I ended loving this product so I bought a second one and plans to buy more. The first one I bought it at Amazon and the second one on the Nubryte website because at the moment it was sold out at Amazon. Both websites have great service.When I wrote the reviews about the installation I thought it would be easier to install than what it was. It took me 3 tries to do it right and the help of the Nubryte customer service. They told me to send a picture of the wiring so they can let me know what was wrong. They also let me know that all the bulbs controlled by the Nubryte has to be of the same kind and cannot exceed 300 W. My first Nubryte controls the lights of the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen has 6 light bulbs and the living room has 9. Although I love this product and I'm very happy that I bought it, the reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the App. It needs a lot of work. I have the Android versiion. When I started using it, the app freezes a lot but it has has improved You can only manage the calendar option from the App; it's not existent on the Nubryte screen, so you can only enter your events from your phone. When you set an event, the alarm sounds one hour before it but you can only dismiss the alarm from the screen, not your app. My recommendation is do not enter an event if you are not planning to be home. .The lighting function has 5 different modes: Vacation, Wake up, Bedtime, Night light, and Motion. Right now I have only used the motion one. It is set from 7 PM to midnight. You can manage how much time you want the lights to stay on from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 60 minutes. I haven't use the vacation mode because I have a cat that always stay home and the sensor activates every time he walks by the screen.The security application is impressive; it has a security code for you to enter. When you put the security mode it asks for your code and gives you 30 to 60 seconds (that you can program before) to enter the code, if not the Nubryte will start the process. When someone works in front of the screen, it will ask for the security code and if it is not inserted in the time you programmed a siren will sound and the lights controlled by the switch will start turning on and off. The camera will start recording and you will see it on your App. My only problem is that my cat will start it. The motion sensor is really impressive.The appearance of the screen has 4 different modes for you to decide: Random, Photo, Weather, and Clock. You can download a picture from your App so it can appear in the screen.It also works with dimmable light bulbs and it give you the option when you start setting it. My only problem is that the kitchen has dimmable light bulbs but the living room don't and both sides have to be the same.I haven't installed the second one yet so I have no idea how the Intercom mode works but I'm planning to buy more Nubryte touchscreen; one for each room and definitely will try the Flex version as soon as it is in the market.

You will get more satisfaction putting your money in a trash can and setting on fire.
Dimmer never worked. Broker after a year. Garbage.
