Prince of Peace Organic White Tea 100 Count (Pack of 2)

Great taste; goes very well with a late afternoon scone, and it is organic and healthful!

White tea gives you all the benefits of green tea but not the bitter taste.

I like white tea for it's medicinal value and not for the taste. I brewed one cup of this tea to sample the flavor, earthy is how I would describe it. I normally drink a robust black tea, so the flavor is much younger and lighter. Recently, I became involved in brewing kombucha, and decided to use this tea as a test batch to compare to the black tea brew. I loved it! It reminded me of the drink "Squirt" that I used to drink as a child. It had a very sweet tart citrus flavor. It's now my favorite brew. This tea is now reserved for my kombucha brewing as it is hands down superior to my black tea kombucha.

I have this same tea, White Peony in bulk for making hot tea with a strainer. The tea bags make ice tea in the spring and summer so easy. 11 bags to a 1/2 gallon mason jar and sit in the sun for 5 hours. White tea is so much higher in antioxidants and highest amount of polyphenols of all teas (black, oolong, green, white). This tea when brewed is a great color for ice tea as well, a golden brown.

We have been drinking this white tea for several years. And we go through a lot of it. It’s a particular favourite of ours. Hot or iced, it’s most refreshing. Two boxes of this were a bargain we couldn’t pass up. It’s wonderful organic white tea in unbleached tea bags.

My favorite tea is White Tea, I’ve bought this brand for 20 years, but the place that I bought them from recently closed. I was thrilled to find them on Amazon!! White Tea is from top of plant, it’s the best tea, made with flowers. Green tea is good to, but from center of tea plant & White tea is very low in caffeine, it’s much healthier. Black tea is from bottom of tea plants and has most caffeine, it’s the lowest ranking of tea. The Chinese prize White tea for it’s delicate flavor & health benefits.

I’ve been a Prine member now for 8 years and this is my first review. I have bought a good amount of tea of the years from super high end Spice Merchants here in California to Lipton, Teavana, you name it. This is my go to! For its smooth taste, it can’t be beat. Personally I leave the tea bag in my cup, it doesn’t get bitter in my opinion, Prince of Peace Organic Green does if you let it steep too long, that’s another one of my favs as well. For anyone reading this, take it for me, it’s a winner! Green or white, they’re both my favs. Thanks Prince of Peace!
