Unlike my usual oils, could not detect a scent or flavor
I guess I received a "good" bottle of this olive oil, as the label states a bottling date only a few months ago. However, from the reviews and the expensive cost, I expected something that would surpass my usual imported Colavita Premium Italian or Papa Vince olive oils, which can always burn my tongue with their peppery freshness. This oil has a light texture, but aside from a VERY slight pepperiness, I could not discern any particular or "special" flavor at all, but just blandness.I'm sorry if I missed something delicate, but would not recommend this for salads, which were to be its main use.And so expensive for such a small bottle. Probably will give it away as it is non-returnable.
