Low profile for our coach roof.
Installed without much trouble on our 14-year-old Motorhome, using the original thermostat and controller. Cools well, took a bit of adjustment to remove rattles, because the rubber feet had to settle. Did not come with instructions, but can be downloaded. It is a loud unit, but so was the original.NOTE: THIS UNIT DOES NOT HAVE A HEAT PUMP!

Ease of installation
Pretty much plug and play, cools well. Kinda noisy, but is mounted in front bedroom of my fifth wheel. Used original thermostat and control box, no issues at all. Purchased inside diverter that was suggested. Has controls on it that are not needed, non-ducted application. Is very heavy and awkward, suggest two grown men and a stout boy to move it on to the top of trailer

High hopes
Unit arrived as scheduled, relatively easy to install (I have installed 3 of these units)1st one lasted 9 years. The 2nd and 3rd replacements not so long. They Both arrived with defective fan housing installs. Motor mounts were loose and fan aggressively rubbing against the fan housing and would not rotate freely.Frustratingly unhappy.

RV AC replacement
The first unit we received was incorrect but customer service representative assisted with getting the correct unit. We were able to replace AC unit in under an hour and it works great!!

Really cranks out the cool air!
-1 star as the unit arrived a little damaged. Appears to have been dropped on road-side, rear corner. The sheet metal was bent a bit and 2 of the 4 mounting holes on the shroud were cracked. But, by my choice, I decided to accept the damage due to upcoming trip and bent back the sheet metal and attempted to reinforce the cracked shroud holes. My attempted fix on the shroud did not hold up and almost lost the shroud at day 3 of my trip but was able to apply several strips of the trusty duct tape and the shroud successfully completed the 26 day trip.Aside from that, the unit is a 2nd unit for my 38' 5th wheel. It effectively cools the forward part of my RV and provides significant assistance to my primary 15K BTU Dometic unit. The hardest part of the install was hoisting the unit to the roof. Rented a lift for this part and had 1 friend help. RV was pre-wired for a 2nd AC unit and utilized an existing standard 14"x14" vent hole next to the wiring box. Ordered the additional AC distribution box (3314851.000) and a heat strip (3314998.000). Instructions included steps for many different models, so needed to pay attention to which steps were specific to the model I ordered. Once on the roof, the install went smoothly and per instructions. It worked great during my trip which included several days over 90 degrees. I also ordered the "recommended" gasket - this is not needed, however, I suspect I'll find a use for it eventually.

Works awesome and easy to install
Works awesome and easy to install. Other's have recommended getting the gasket kit, but it comes with them on the bottom of the unit. The only thing I found was due to the curve of my roof the rear rubber vibration mounts don't meet the roof and I need add additional ones to fill the space and support the rear of the unit. Also, this is a vented/non-vented unit. If you are using at non-vented be sure to get the Air Distribution unit for it at the same time. That comes with the bolts you need to secure the unit to the roof. The AD unit was easy to install as well.

Palazzo direct replacement
Great price, fast shipping, was in great shape. Had this thing on the roof and running on my Thor Palazzo in one hour. It’s quieter than the original and a straightforward swap. Could not be happier.

Loud, expensive, huge energy draw for little cooling
Horribly expensive to be this loud, pull this many watts, and not really cool like it should (I’ve installed several different brands in different builds btw). It’s loud even and blows full force air even on its lowest setting. Draws 1800 watts on a medium setting, a pretty big deal when you'd like to run off a solar system, or even a standard 20amp outlet - as not all camp sites have 30-50amp plugs. It should run on a 20 amp plug, but for some reason it will not, I’m guessing there are surges above 1800 watts. The only positive is it looks cool on the outside and was easy to install.
