Solaration KB1041 Solar Stake Flower, Hummingbird, Butterfly and Dragonfly Garden Stake Lights, Four Pieces Set

We received these (or similar) as a gift. Put them about in our big city backyard. Love their gentle glow at night. Planted this summer and still going in February during a cold NYC winter. One of the (many) neighbors who overlook our little patch of garden came around and knocked on the door to ask where he could buy them. This - after some 20 years of sharing the same fence with nothing more then an occasional wave. Found them on Amazon and they were quickly delivered. Although seemingly fragile -- they were in one piece. Left them on our neighbor's porch as a gift. They now twinkle and change color in his flower pots which we see out our back window. Really sweet.

I was first a little leery about buying these because so many reviews indicated they were broken upon receipt. I ordered two sets of these and just love them. When I got them, I first assembled them and put them in the ground just outside my door so I could check them at night to see if they had charged properly and worked. They all did! Then I arranged them in my garden. Some of the reviews suggested putting the bottom portion of the stake in the ground first and then the remainder of the stake and I followed those directions. Each one is a different color. I grouped them (8) all together at first and then decided to space them farther apart for a more dramatic look. I live on a busy street and have them in my front garden and people are always stopping to comment on them. I would love if these all came in the SAME color, as I think that would make a more beautiful display than all different colors. I think the price for these was very good and they do look lovely at night and have nice long stakes.

The 3 of these that work are quite nice, but one of the connecting pieces broke as soon as I put the rod together. I had to duct tape the two parts together rather than put them them with the plastic connector. I was careful NOT to try to push the point in by pushing on the solar panel section, but the connector still broke. The light on that one seems very weak, too. The directions are also weak! There is a very subtle but significant difference in the ends of the tubes. That is not mentioned at all in the directions. For the price, they are lovely, but I am figuring it ~$20 for THREE not for four.

Good quality products, looks beautiful in our little fairy garden, all works good only the hummingbird doesn't work , we tried everything, don't know if they can replace only that one

I enjoy these little garden solar power LED lights. I purchased a package of 4 different lights. Two of the lights were defective, but the company kindly sent me two replacements upon request and explanation of what was not working. The stems that hold the lights are somewhat fragile and can bend easily so my recommendation is to make a hole in the ground and insert the bottom part of the stem first then assemble the next pieces carefully on top. Enjoy!

I made a Gnome garden and these lights make it look so awesome at night. They light up around dusk and die out before dawn. They change colors. I live near Buffalo, NY, so if they work here, they are gonna work anywhere. They are truly great. I shortened them to the 1 foot height, but they ca go 18" or so if you like.Wonderful addition. All the neighbors love them.

works fine...........I want to edit this review. They worked fine for 2 or 3 months and now 3 out of the 4 I bought won't light up. I buy solar lights all the time but I won't buy this brand again. You should get at least a year. I have some light from another brand that have been burning 3 years.Very difficult to install rechargeable batteries and I also tried it and it didn't work. This is not a good brand. Save your moneyBig zero for these folk.

Very nice solar garden lights. I love garden lights and purchase them about once a year. They do not stay clear, much like the headlight plastic lenses on cars. These will cloud from sun exposure over time. But, they are not very expensive and at night the colors look pretty in the garden pots. Be careful NOT to get the solar panels too wet from watering your plants. I usually leave the clear peel off covering on the little solar panels as water protection.
