I was skeptical about how effective this item would be but found it to actually do exactly what it claims. I am 5'9" and 168 lbs with a 40" chest and this fits me well. As you may read in other reviews it can feel a bit snug and perhaps some people find them restrictive but I am not sure how the item could actually slim otherwise. In my case I just needed it to sort of slim down my profile after losing nearly 100 lbs over the last few years. It works great when you need to tuck your shirt into jeans or when wearing clothing that is cut slim or fitted. I would suggest that when you put the tank on that you put it on over your head and arms them simply grab the very bottom seam with both hands, on in front and one in the rear and simply pull it down. To remove the tank just do the opposite and pulling gently on the very bottom with both hands "peel" it upwards and over your head. I did not find this a difficult proposition but I have been wearing athletic compression gear for years and may be more accustomed to putting stretchy, tight fitting clothing on and off than most. I ended up buying several more after buying the first one to try. I did end up sending one back because I found that it had a loose thread on the bottom seam that would eventually allowed the seam to unravel. I didn't have any issues returning the flawed garment for a refund so I didn't penalize the rating due to this.

At first I thought how am I getting it on then wondered how I'm getting it off. But I found the right technique for both and love this as my every workday undershirt. I don't have man boobs but when wearing certain materials my nips would slightly protrude enough for me to feel a little uncomfortable about it. My regular cotton under tees would help but just wanted something a bit more fitted. This undergarment took care of that very well. Some may have complained about too tight but I think that's what it's supposed to do at first you may feel it to be a smidge difficult to breathe but it's prolly cause you're not use to the pretty tight tight fit. I felt like a superhero cause of how tight it was. It also doesn't ride up and tucking in shirts can look very clean oppose to regular cotton under shirts which I used to use until this bad boy. It was a game changer. I wear large shirts regularly and that's the size I purchased. I also have a white one that I've been using for a couple of months. I hand wash and hang dry just so I don't risk messing up the the fit. It will stretch with consistent use but not to the point that is gets too loose. Wish the price was a bit cheaper but I use it 5 out 7 days a week so it's worth it. Also it won't make you appear slimmer although it may for some but it definitely will not make you look bigger. Personally I feel slimmer wearing it. Oh and it's also not noticeable under your shirts either, with certain materials you may see it slightly but not to the point of personal distraction.

Does the job and tucks in well. My only meh is the manly man sports bra bunches the breast fat up near the arm pits and it's noticeable depending on the shirt you're wearing over it. This compression shirt is still good though and I'll probably purchase again. No real complaints.

The pros to this shirt are simple. It actually will help improve your posture when you wear it. The first day I slipped it on in my semi-cooled home and just went about my day as this magical piece of fabric forced my body into the correct position. I think I was even sore at the end of the night when I finally took it off and watched in dismay as my body slowly slumped back into its regular, arched pose. Unfortunately as I began wearing this magical garment I started realizing why I hate this thing so much.The cons are also quite simple. A few days later of strutting around in this magical bliss I made the unforgettable mistake of treating this as an under shirt, which it clearly is not. Within an hour of wearing this thing my body began to sweat like I have never felt before. I honestly thought I was sick as my body released buckets of sweat from every section of my torso. Another couple hours in I just couldn't take it anymore and I tried to escape this vile straight jacket. It just wouldn't let me go. My sweat somehow infused me to the fabric, as I yanked and pulled trying to remove myself from its silky grasp. I actually began to panic, from a shirt! I kept pulling and even at one point I thought I would just have to accept it, that it was now a part of me. My arms were sore, and my chest felt tight as it crushed me in its hold. “Help” I screamed, the room swelled around me as I almost gave up and crumpled to the floor. The end was near; I could feel it this time.And then I realized it was just a shirt, so I went to kitchen and grabbed some scissors and just cut it off of me and went about my day.

I've purchased several of these in a couple of sizes over the past year during my weight loss. The original ones were great and the spandex holds everything in place. My recent order included two of the three shirts (same size and color as previously ordered) with much thinner fabric. They might be a little cooler in the summer, but they don't have the same holding power as the originals. They stretch out and loose shape much faster too. I'm not sure why they would mess with a good thing. If I hadn't ordered it from the manufacturer, I'd have thought they were knock-offs and not the real deal. Just thought you guys should know they have changed.
