FruitCeuticals Organic Tart Cherry Whole Fruit Powder (Not an Extract) - 2 Pouches

I wanted to like this product but unfortunately they mix fine white powder of silica into the tart cherry powder. It is so fine and Dusty that I breathe it in when I open the bag and it makes me cough. Silica is toxic when ingested and inhaled. All they have to do is put a couple of moisture wicking packets in the pure tart cherry powder and everything is solved. Very disappointed. Had to return it The taste was a little off because of it and I can't even breathe when I open the bag

i love the colour of this product - one can tell they've used the whole cherry, just based on the colour alone. i tried to mix it in with water, but couldn't get it to dissolve fully, so now i just add it to my warm fizzy magnesium supplement drink at night, and it gives it a lovely flavour! i can't tell if it's helping me sleep just yet, as it's only been about a week, but i look forward to the continued results. i will definitely purchase again, as the value is worth it! a little goes a long way and i like that the company is based out of michigan, where the best tart cherries originate form. furthermore, i appreciate the process in which they handle the cherries and create this powder. good stuff!

FEBRUARY 2018 UPDATE: Downgrade from 4 stars to one. When this was purchased from Traverse Bay Farms, Oct. '16 through April '17, I was getting the real deal. From mxNetwork, it is complete crap. Mostly silica (which they have misspelled as "silicia" on the packaging). I have to use double the dose to be able to tell that there's any sort of cherry in the mix at all. Not worth it.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW:Can't say that I really noticed a specific health effect, although it seemed anti-inflammatory. I just liked it (in morning protein drink concoction). Felt sort of generally uplifting or detoxing. (Also made my concoction taste better, unifying the flavors.) But I guess it was a luxury where I was concerned, since I can't point to a clear before-and-after or with-or-without effect when comparing to the more than six months I used this. And I used this stuff liberally--heaping tablespoon per serving.Not that everything one incorporates into a diet or health regimen should really have to meet the highest possible threshold of effectiveness, but it just does automatically turn out to be so when working within a budget. At $6.87 per ounce, this stuff is a bit expensive for my purposes.NB: The seller uses very fast USPS Priority Mail delivery to my location. Quick order fulfillment.

I thought I was going to have to do a medical retirement as my knees were so stiff and swollen I could only walk peg legged. I work for USPS so am on my feet 9 hours a day. The tart cherry powder worked within several hours to take the inflammation down and I just may make my last 2 1/2 years to full retirement but still have to have my knees replaced. 1 1/2 teaspoons a day and I am good for the day without all the carbs and sugars of the juice.
