Great and suttle taste.
Salt has a great flavor, it does have a slight sulfur smell to it but the flavor is great. Nice price and works great in a pepper grinder. Recommend to others to purchase.

Funky, mineral-y, umami bomb
This stuff is pretty interesting. If you taste a small amount plain, you'll find that it actually has two very distinct flavors; the initial flavor is similar to regular pink salt, and then a second later you're hit with a funky mineral taste, but in a pleasant way (assuming you enjoy that sort of thing). It works well with mashed chickpeas and turmeric for a vegan "egg salad", but also works anywhere that you'd use miso paste. And yes, a very little bit goes a long way... unless you're feeding a vegan army, this two pound container should last literally years.Even longer if you plan to combine it with other ingredients like shiitake powder, garlic/onion powder, and powdered kombu for the ultimate umami seasoning.

Very potent
Using this salt to steam my face and also as saline to help clear up my stuff nose. It works really well. The smell is not so nice but the healing effects are great. My husband also uses it to cook.

Only if you like rotten eggs
This stuff is not edible it smells like rotten eggs to the point it makes u gag as soon as the container is opened.

Tastes just like eggs
It tastes just like eggs, just like it says. It's a great egg flavor replacement if you are vegan like me. Very very sulphury. It tastes just like the yolk of a hardboiled egg. This stuff is amazing, and I love it. It's great if you are cooking with it or if you are just sprinkling it on something to give it extra flavor. A very small amount of this goes a long way too. This is a huge container and would take me years to get through even if I was using it every single day. So don't worry about needing any more.

Taste good but smells weird
If somebody ever told me that salt would have a weird smell to it, I would tell them that they're crazy because salt doesn't smell. However, this does. I don't find a noticeable difference in the flavor as compared to regular sea salt. And once you add it to your food and cook it or whatever, the smell goes away. I only noticed it while I was adding it to the food. The smell is somewhere between a fart and rotten seaweed. It's not very strong but it's definitely there.

Love it!
I bought this because I read that this is what gives vegan scrambled eggs the "egg" flavor. I'll be damned if it doesn't. Even smells like eggs. I could make egg salad again. It's uncanny but it really makes the egg flavor. Use sparingly; it's strong.

If you don't want an egg-like taste, then this is not for you. Its not FAIR to leave bad reviews for the sulfur egg-like taste when the listing clearly says it has those qualities. That is EXACTLY why we buy it. It makes a MEAN tofu-scramble! Great in a Michelada, Great on french fries! Oh yeah. 100% PERFECT in EVERY WAY!!! Its also an amazing price too!!! I like this better than the previous egg salt that I had, as I can use my salt-grinder again! Makes it even more fresh than already ground fine textured egg salt. It would literally be worth the extra money to buy this and buy a salt-grinder separate, just for the extra fresh taste that salt-grinders give.
