Received on Mother's Day and was very pleased with the selection. Heavy pieces and no repeats! Rather than extra sugar I may use corn starch or tapioca powder to stiffen the icing. While here we are partial to roses on cakes in East Europe it's tulips! Am posting a picture of them before I use them along with a ruler so you can see how big they are!

The buttercream tips are really nice, the metal they are made from appear to be quality in that they are heavier. I am looking forward to using them.

Still trying to figure out how to use them! I'm sure after a few practice runs I'll be a pro!

These Russian decorating tips are so much fun. I definitely hope to spend a lot more time perfecting my skill with them. I have found with these larger tips and coupler, I have to use a stiffer frosting than with the other smaller tips I have used previously. I also found that these larger tips and bags take more pressure to get the end results with the frosting that I want. I filled the decorating bag that came with the tips about 1/2 full for my best results. These tips are a very high quality metal, very heavy duty and performed well. There are some great designs and I have plans for creating some really cute cupcakes with them.This set comes with 26 different heavy duty metal tips, a great quality silicone pastry bag and an excellent quality coupler to complete the package. I have never before seen some of these unique designs on a decorating tip and I am excited to try out my ideas. I received this dcorating set at a discount in exchange for a review. These are great quality tips and I highly recommend them.

I haven't gotten to use but just a few of the tips yet, but I am so excited!These help frost floral inspired desserts with ease. However, it does take a little getting used to. I find very cold frosting helps. The stiffer that the buttercream is, the better. I am still experimenting with the tips, so I can't use it in my business quite yet until I get faster and more accustomed. I did try a few in my bakery, but it is quite warm (bakeries tend to do that!). I had to put the piping bag in the fridge for a few minutes every few flowers. Like I said, I'm getting used to it and it does make for some really pretty flowers!As far as the product itself, the tips are very large. They weren't as heavy as I anticipated. They wash with ease. I did like how it came with a coupler to fit the large size. I have not used the bag that comes with it, but I did appreciate the inclusion.I really give this an A+ in the decorating aspect.
