I've recently started shooting extreme macro, for which you want maximum depth of field, so stopping the lens down to F16+. That is where the dust shows up; honestly, I was shocked at how dirty my sensor was. Still, it's maybe 9 years old and has never been cleaned...Anyway, take a lens longer than 50mm, stop down as far as it goes, manually focus on infinity, and shoot a bright white object. Load into Adobe Camera Raw (Bridge or Lightroom) and choose healing - check the Visualise Spots box, which inverts the image so you can see the dust. Pictures are before and after.

I would love to have had one like this years ago, great idea ,works a treat, air blower with a filter so simple but brilliant.

Good idea let down by poor design. When you squeeze the bulb the filter works loose and falls out after several squeezes so you need to keep pushing the filter body in. Not the strongest of blasts compared to Giottos blowers either. What you need is a Giottos fitted with the JJC filter.....

Easy to use product. It cleared the dust from my Nikon immediatelyIt was received in good time and well packaged.

The blower is well-made and functions phenomenally in it's duties. I use it to clean red-dot lenses and it does a great job of it.
