This cartridge chip was rejected by the HP6978 printer as a cloned or used cartridge. I could not bypass the error message. I had to purchase a different cartridge.6/1/2023- This is an update to the above. Customer service reached out to me and were very responsive and offered to make it right for me. I'd give them a 4star for support.

Using a long time at great savings. Work great in my printer and last a long time.

I've used this blk & the color 902's twice, and just now had a blk 902xl stop working only days after installing it. Only the next replacement (now in printer) has ever shown fill status including the color 902's.. Printer still works, but it's not HP 6978 friendly, considering 902 is HP's cartridge.

++Changed to a 4-star from 2star. The company contacted me and was able to get me a refund but I would still caution any users that don't have to replace cartridges' past amazon's return policy. If HP decides to bar older chip sets again then you are back to having to ask for refund.________________The listing shows as compatible with HP Officejet Pro 6968 but when I tried to use it I got a error message no HP chipset found. I bought the 2pk and both had the error. Just like a lot of people, I didn't use this until after 30 days so Amazon won't let me return even though it's a defective item. Very unfortunate.I brought a multi pack earlier in the year and that one worked great. I don't understand why one worked but the other two didn't.So I recommend testing the cartridges' as soon as you get them, so if you need to return then it'll be a lot easier for you. Or a keep a genuine one on deck just in case.

What more to say? I'd give it 0 stars if I could, but it's not an option. Because when it came down to it, the product couldn't even attempt to function, because HP firmware realized it was a fake.Buyer beware.----------------------Update: the company stands by their product and will make things right. I will be giving their products another chance once we are in need of more ink for our printer.Also: I found out it is a good idea to turn off the automatic firmware update on your HP printer, using the HP Smart app. This is HP's way of restricting ink buying to only HP, which feels a little bit like price gouging to me.

The price is right, it works in my HP printer and delivery is fast !

not worth it when the 2nd one can't read the chip by the printer. had to overnight ink cartridge because I was in the middle of printing - not worth the gamble.**revise/update: Great Customer Service - remedy my issues, apparently there was an chip update from HP causing the one I have not working. The seller was very understanding of the situation and resolved quickly. Much appreciate the service!

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer. HP ink is not cheap. This ink is far cheaper and just as good of quality.MAKE SURE that you do a “Factory Reset” on your printer if this or any ink that isn’t HP does not immediately work. It’s super simple, I watched a YouTube video on it and did it in seconds. HP printers are designed not to take other ink but can if you do the reset.Hope this helps someone trying to save some bucks :)

Excuse me they were ink cartridges they fit in the machine and they work with out any problem

Not compatible. Waste of money. Make sure your printer doesn't do a firmware update or these cartridges will not work and will get a printer error since HP blocks the use of third party cartridges.
