No Mystery - It Was a Good Transaction
Well packaged and exactly as described. Reasonably priced when compared to similar sales of the same item.

Two 45-minute BBC/PBS shows tell us about the author’s life and times
This DVD contains two 45-minute documentaries – both produced by BBC Channel 5 in 2019 – that aired on PBS in the US in January 2021.The first one provides both a biography of the most successful writer of the 20th Century (75 novels, including 66 mysteries and short story collections plus plays). The Director was able you get access to her children and grandchildren for interviews as well as access to her archive (we see the original drafts of many of her writings). They also include many scenes from the films and TV shows – nearly all BBC productions which aired on PBS on Masterpiece Mystery. You might even thing of this a “promo piece” for those shows. But I learned about Christie the person for the first time. The second documentary covers the areas of England and the world where Christie traveled to get ideas. One prominent influence was when Christie was invited to ride on the Orient Express which, of course gave her the idea for “Murder on the Orient Express”. We pay visits to the offshore location where “And Then There Were None” and similar locations.I liked the first one a bit more than the second one but found both interesting and glad I saw them. The DVD contains no bonus features.Steve Ramm“Anything Phonographic”
