Q: Where are the Premier Stainless Steel sets made?

The manufacturer gave this answer when someone else asked: Thank you for your interest in our products. We currently produce our products in many locations. The bulk of our cookware which is manufactured from aluminum, is still produced here in Toledo, Ohio. Our Stainless Steel and Cast Iron products are entirely produced overseas in China. Likewise our Utensils, Bakeware, Electrics and Kitchen Gadgets are also produced overseas.

Q: Does the premier set have etched measurements, pouring spout and lid like the classic set?

Thank you for showing interest in our cookware. No, the Calphalon Premier Stainless Steel 8-Pc. Cookware Set doesn't have fill lines and pour spouts. Also, the covers are flat tempered glass and don't have straining holes, unlike the Classic cookware.

Q: Is the calphalon cookware stackable?

Yes, they nest quite nicely. I have protectors between each of mine, but they aren’t necessary. Best advice I could give you is get some Barkeeper’s Friend and use it each time you wash the pan. It will always come out shiny just like spanking new!

Q: What is the difference of the Premier stainless steel line vs the Signature stainless steel line?

Premier is 3 layers of metals (stainless, aluminum, stainless), dishwasher safe & up to 450°F. Signature is 5 layers of metals (stainless, 3 aluminum layers & stainless), dishwasher safe & up to 500°F.
