QuantumSuper Lysine, 180 Count

I buy these for cold sore treatment/prevention. Abreva and other do not work for me at all. This is very helpful used as directed to prevent and heal cold sores quicker than without. They also make a topical form of this to put on the lips, same company, and it is also wonderful. Soothing and healing. Have been buying for many years and will continue to support this brand, Quantum Health.

When I was younger my grandmother used to resell this in her Salon. We didn't really use it as much as we used Quantum's Super Lysine. I decided to purchase it in my adult life because I trusted this brand. I surely dont regret it. Since I've began purchasing this lip balm, my lips are always moist and protected. Some lip balms end up drying you out, which forces you to use more... But this doesnt! If I apply, I'm normally good for 3-4 hours before I feel the need to reapply. It's not flavored, but you probably shouldnt be eating lip balm anyway hahaTHE BEST FEATURE IS THE KEYRING HOLE IN THE LIP BALM CAP!!!!!! I never lose these lip balms! Theyre always safe and sound right on my keychain. Because of this, I'm able to finish tubes before throwing them away = saving money! People are always asking where I purchase my lip balm and I always give them the amazon link! I love them.

We have been taking this lysine for a few years now! It’s a bit of a horse pill as far as size goes, but it’s great for helping clear up any agitation from stress induced cold sores and is also a lovely mild natural antibiotic! I’ve used it to help clear up mild earaches and toothaches when I can’t get to a doctor right away(as an aside: always consult a healthcare professional before treating yourself, just sayin’).

I've used this product for many years now for colds, flu, my kid's acne, cold sores, and shingles. I'm a nurse and I have recommended it to literally hundreds of people over the years because it is so effective. I took aside a nurse co-worker whose lips were covered in cold sores from stress, and told her about Super Lysine Plus. One week later her cold sores were GONE. She tracked me down to thank me for the advice. She broke down in tears as she told me how embarrassed she was to go into work with her lips covered in cold sores and how painful they were. Now she is back to her beautiful self! I stock up every fall for the flu season!

This is my most favorite chapstick. I do get cold sores from time to time, but that’s not why I buy these. I’ve tried a million kind and this is the only one I’ve stuck with. It’s noticeably clean and wonderfully moisturizing. Also, I haven’t had a cold sore in a long time- maybe large in part thanks to daily use of this wonderful goodness?!

Provides great shine like a lip gloss! It does not have a taste in my opinion.

I started using this at the end of fall, heading into the winter months to help boost my immune system. So far (knock on wood), I have not had any of the colds and flu's that have been going around.
