LEGOMinifigures Series 21 66657, Discontinued by Manufacturer (Pack of 6)

This set of 6 was perfect! For at least 25 years every Christmas I have put 1/2 a dozen of these mystery Lego characters in my son’s stocking. It is one of our Christmas day traditions that I will continue to do every year for as long as I can, no matter how old he gets. We both look forward to him opening them up and putting them together. We have had so many laughs over the little characters that emerge, it is part of what makes Christmas day special. This was the first year that I ordered this set from Amazon (it was not possible to go out to get them during the pandemic) and I was a little worried about whether they were all the same or different or doubles of the characters. I was super happy that they were six different characters keeping up the tradition once again.

Like someone else who posted a review, I ordered 2 6-packs. They came as 2 white OEM-type boxes, with LEGO coding on the sides. So it *appears* that that these boxes have pre-selected blind bags in them. I got lucky, and the 2 boxes were different - and gave me all 12 of them, no duplicates. The odds of that happening are pretty high, so this must be deliberate. So if you're lucky, you can order 2 boxes and end up with no duplicates!BTW, the Space minifig, if you haven't seen it, isn't just a Space homage - without the armor on, he looks extemely close to an original Futuron-era Space Police figure! I need a few more of them now :)

My son received only one duplicate. The bags were prepackaged in boxes. We received 1 pegasus, 2 sea women with the spikey crown thing, 1 drunk beach guy, and 1 green headed alien space guy?? We were hoping to get an airplane guy, so I'll be reordering a second set here, it's still worth it. Ive ordered blind packs on here and received 4 duplicates out of 6 from other sellers more than once. It seems like other sellers may pick out the most popular ones and leave the worst, anytime I received duplicates from other sellers, it's always been the most random character. I am very impressed with this seller and the product received!

The quality of the figures are amazing as always but I was disappointed that three of the six I received were identical.

I bought 2 of these boxes and ended up getting all 12 figures with no duplicates! I'm guessing that the boxes are purposefully made that way, so be aware of that if you buy more than one... you just might get duplicates.

I bought these for my boyfriend, who is an avid lego collector, for his birthday. He was super happy.

I received 6 minifig within the group of blind bags and got multiples of some of the bags. I think this should have been checked before grouping these together. This was embarrassing as It was a gift for a child. To receive 6 blind bags in this set and get 3 of the same was a bit unsettling.
