Smittybilt 773215 Spare Tire Cover for all Jeep® Wranglers, Denim Black, Large 30"-32"

I got this for a ridiculous price one day, something like 8$ and Prime. The price has never been that low again since. I'm happy with the 8$ I spent on it, not sure I'd pay more than that. The draw string is really hard to get tight around a 245/75/16 (Factory TJ Rubicon size), and I'd be worried about it blowing off when mounted on the outside of a Jeep because of how secure the drawstring is. I'm using mine for a spare tire inside a Grand Cherokee, so I don't have to worry about it blowing off or being in the elements, I just wanted something to keep it covered so anything that touches the tire doesn't get dirty rubber marks on it, so I guess it works for me.

Cover fit my spare on my 2015 Rubicon just fine. However, the locking device on the drawstrings did not hold which allowed the cover to remain more loose fitting than I cared for. I was afraid that it would blow off while driving at highway speeds over time. I returned it without risking this and purchased another brand from Amazon with a different retention system. My new cover was more expensive but cheaper than buying a replacement for this one once it blew off.

Our Jeep Wrangler is 14 years old, and the South Florida sun has taken its toll on the spare tire cover. The Smittybilt Denim black spare tire cover exactly matches our Bestop top, and was inexpensive for the quality of the the cover. The tire cover has some negative reviews, but if you have ever straightened a crooked picture, you can figure out how to tighten up the cord so it does not try to work its way off. Not brain surgery. Good deal, fits well.

Fits perfect on my 285/70R17 spare tire. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the fastening string is not as easy as just having elastic to hold it on the tire. I replaced the string on mine with a long bungee and it works much better.Update:Has held up well for over 4 years so far. It also fits well on my 255/85R16 tire.

It's not the most heavy duty of tire covers, but for what you pay for it you get a very good value. It turned out to be a perfect fit for my 265/75/16 tire (about 32"), though may be a bit baggy if you go much smaller in size. Haven't had it for long, but from what I can tell I think it will work out well.
