Nicely engineered and manufacured to a high tolerance. I really like this piece of kit for rapid mounting of equipment, yes its small but very sturdy, obviously it's designed for smaller light-weight kit so don't expect it to mount a Canon C300 etc and then complain that it wobbles 🤣 I'm using this for an Osmo Pocket rig with various accessories mounted to it, it's perfect for that kind of application. It'll work great for compact DSLR's etc., too.

Love the metal construction, feels solid and with the lock button I can trust it with my expensive camera.You will need more than one if moving between mounts but I would definitely get another one for my tripod as I hate having to change thumb screwed plates in the middle of a shoot.The foot print of the base plate is a small square which is what I wanted, it gives easier access the the bottom of the camera (battery) and the clamp for my ball head mount.The only thing I don’t like is the alloy button does rattle if I am shooting on moving vehicles but I use external mic anyway and there will be a lot other things rattling anyway.

I didn't even know that Ulanzi did a quick release system. I was looking into the PGY Tech Snaplock system, when I found this on Amazon. Found the SmallRig one too, and later on also recently found the Falcam F38 I think quick release plate/system. But this looked like same quality for a lesser price, so I had to try it out. It's actually a really great small pocket product. I use this on my tripod for time saving. The material is great & solid. The red accent button on the black plate helps separate the button from the plate. The only annoying part is the double button on the front & back that needs to be pressed together to remove it, cause sometimes I forget & keep pressing one. That is a little confusing but I guess just need to get used to it. Another issue I found is that sometimes, the plate both the the plate that attaches to the camera & the adapter that attaches the tripod/gimbal gets loose & needs to be tightened. This has happened to me twice now. It doesn't get that loose where it'll come off in the middle of the shoot but you can notice that its loosened & will continue to loosen more if not tightened. Because of that 4 stars, or else it is a 5 star product.But it hasn't happened enough times for me to get annoyed & not use it, because it is actually a really good handy product & great quality like I said for the price point. A little issue for this price is okay for me.

These are absofrickinlutely fantastic!! Bought two, one shoe for each camera, one base on my mic and accessories bracket and the spare base allows for me to fit the cameras to my tripod which has an Arca Swiss QR head. Changing between cameras on my video rig is an absolute breeze, literally seconds. The product is wonderfully engineered, everything clicks together so precisely and solidly. Brilliant, one of the best accessories I've bought in ages, if you're thinking these would be useful to you, don't hesitate just get it

Using this makes it so much easier to remove the camera and put back on again. Great product also has a lock feature which ensures it does not come off unless unlocked.

I bought this as a quick release system for my Ronin and it is perfectIt’s light and small but very well built and sturdySimple to fit and useI also bought a tripod ball head with the same Claw system and switching between gimbal and tripod is quick and easy
