Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda: Overcoming Regrets, Mistakes, and Missed Opportunities

Very Helpful Book
I struggled with regret of a decision to move five years ago and knew I needed some help to get over it so I can enjoy living where I am and "today". I searched and found this book. The information helps give me a new perspective and guidance to challenge my thinking. The examples of the different types of thinking (and unchallenged stories we tell ourselves) has helped me immensely to let go and move on. When I have an attack of regret, I go back to this book for guidance on how to challenge my thinking so I can get back to enjoying living in the moment of today.

Reads like it was written in the 1950s
The copyright says 1990 but this book is written in such archaic language it could have come from 1950. The examples are unbelievably awful and the names are worse. According to the authors all women aspire to marrying doctors and all men aspire to be vice-president of their "firm."Even if the concepts are worthwhile, the writing is so rotten I couldn't make it past the first few chapters.Ridiculously stupid.

A good buy...
As these types of books go, this was one of the better ones. It was well written; clear, concise and to the point. Makes your realize just how much time is wasted in looking back. We can't change the past, but we can certainly change our future and in these tough times, Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda offers meaningful strategies that work.

A must read!
Would,Coulda, Shoulda, is a book that I am going to keep and refer to for the rest of my life. The message and examples the author used were clear and to the point. If you're looking for ways to come to grips with your life experiences this is the book to read.

The Past Has Nothing New to Offer You
This book really addresses the problem of wasting our tome regretting things that we cannot change. We can, and should, learn from our past, but we shouldn't live there as the past has nothing new to offer us. Look forward, but live in the now.

Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda: Haveta
I was very satisfied to find the condition of my book exactly as described and the timely delivery! Interesting book that shows the authors common sense approach to getting out of a rut [rut - a grave with both ends kicked out!!] in your life that is quite possibly more sinister that we ever imagine.

Fantastic book for people who find themselves...
Fantastic book for people who find themselves saying/thinking... if only i had known... i should have.... i could have... i would have... it helped me change my thoughts... i use to regret almost everything and i hardly regret anything...i make the best choices i can, with the current knowledge that i have.If i start to regret something, i have learnt that i need to examine that regret and learn something new from the situation so that the negative (situation/thing), becomes a positive (situation/thing), moving forward with extra knowledge.regret vs moving forward. Every day full of many choices to be made. (no choice is wrong or right... choose what is best or better for you - so that you can stand tall, being yourself as you are.

I'm reading through this but its very like another book by the same authors
I'm reading through this but its very like another book by the same authors. Takes a long time to get to the point and could have been much more succinct. Very American in sty!e. Just an opinion. I only paid a penny so can't grumble too much.

Thank you so much
This book helped me overcome a depression I've been feeling for MONTHS ever since I messed up a precious relationship. I was kicking myself everyday and I thought I was going mad soon. Since a therapist is too hard to get, I tried this book instead. Wonderful lessons are to be learned. We can really move on, no matter how hard we messed up. We can always restart, but first we must get rid of those attitudes that keep us stuck in the past. Will refer to this book in future. I recommend buying Problem Solving 101: A simple book for smart people: A Simple Guide for Smart People to make better decisions and if your decisions turn out to be wrong, use this book to restore your self-image. NOTE: This book does NOT solve whatever regret your brought upon yourself. The book I mentioned might help you with that as there is a "Problem-Solving" section in there. This book is just about regaining mental peace and being able to move on. Good luck and think about your choices twice.
